Any Class Help Learning Build Making

So, I'm trying to learn how to create decent build and I would need some advice like what to not do or whatever.
While "training" I made a build with Guardian and I would like to know if it would actually work:
I know they are probably extremely basic, but please be complaisant, I'm newbie at this
I might post some other "try of build" in this thread later.

-Morph-Stardust
-COI
-Gemini
-Hive Boots
-Prism x2
-Diamond Fusion Bracelet
-Diamond Fusion Necklace

-Guardian

Tank + decent Dps cuz COI

I would rather prefer if you could answer with advice tha, with an already made build that i'm not planning to use anyway

Melee guardian? ehh

 

I guess i have to understand that Guardian isn't a good melee weapon? why?

 

here's some advice i guess

-if you don't know what to use, you can use stuff like morph-stardust, prism, prowess, etc. that can fit everywhere
for your build i'd use prowess instead of diamond fusion since gemini requires a lot of skill points and you want to have as much defense as possible
-most of the time you should only use +tier for melee builds, here you should use boreal patterned aegis/gravity for tankiness, dreamcloud for mana or even libra to balance offense/defense (doesn't work very well guardian since it only does fire dmg)
-NII SHAKO IS BETTER THAN STARDUST

you just gotta know every item in the game and what's the currenta meta and what sucks (air warrior)

the base dmg is not too high and its clearly meant for tank builds

Replace with Matryoshka Shell since the shell fits the Element Tank idea, is sp inexpensive, has good enough defenses, and has its low HP covered by Guardian.

 

What about morph-steel?

 

Look at Matryoshka Shell's % element defense and its ws. Also the powders.
