Huh? What is the problem here?

 

The wiki has 95% of these so this is mostly unnecessary. Also if you make this, the wiki will get less interest and will be more unimportant.

I'd suggest people contributed to the wiki instead.

 

Let him have dreams and projects.

What if you want to create a different story about a character because you want him to have another end and I say "Stop it, it's useless there is already an end for him, he's dead, that's all. Just stop." I don't think you will appreciate that.

He just want to give another way to find informations about the Wynncraft World, is that so bad ?

Peoples can contribute to the Wiki and to this if they want.

 

1. I'm not saying "You can't have this dream!".
2. I'm telling that wiki has most of the info in the book, so it can be unnecessary and better to put them into the wiki.
3. Woah!! No one knew that this was about info about Wynncraft!! Seriously, this is not a sentence to add to a discussion.

2. Thank you, but I've read them already, and understand it. I'm not forcing him to write on the wiki, I'm trying to give him another end because wiki is more suitable.
3. Who said it's obvious? I understand what you mean perfectly. You were just saying what this thread is for, which is known by everyone who read this thread. Also, saying "read #" doesn't help you with anything, because it's not convincing, not a refutation. I'm a fluent person who isn't some guy talking very badly. You seem to be replying like I'm not a fluent person.
4. It's not as well known as the forums so wiki could get some updates and upgrades so it's more popular.

I hear your objections and I understand the thinking behind them. I am still going to do the project, but thank you for your criticism. I am going to try and distinguish this from the wiki—it isn't meant to be an encyclopedia, just a book.

 

oh god,this will be huge... pls make sure to dont lie like other gu8ides saying that wynn is perfect and everybody wants to marry with it because 1.wynncraft is a game inside a game so it isnt perfect 2.you will need pacience to grind a lot and have a lot of money to buy things with this inflation

The project died off pretty fast. This was made pre-gavel, most of the info was made from teasers

 

It may still have useful information.

I will be on vacation for a a chunk of June, so this project may have to be on hold.

 

Add a chapter for loot runs would be nice.

Sent you my go on making a section for the start of the book (Section 1.01)! I hope this project would be a success, it would be nice to see a hard copy of it in my shelves to read!

Welcome to Wynncraft! While you enjoy your stay in Wynncraft, we (the community behind this book) would like to welcome you with open hands, and have crafted this handbook for you. We hope this book will come in use for you as you travel around Wynncraft exploring caves, fighting monsters and solving unraveled mysteries. This book will serve as a guide for players who are new to Wynncraft, or as nostalgia for all the experienced players, and will provide useful tips and insights for you to improve your journey to be much more enjoyable.


What is Wynncraft? (Made on 30/5/2017)
Wynncraft is a fantasy MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) made as a Minecraft server. It is free to play and only requires an Internet connection and a Premium Minecraft PC account to play.

Wynncraft consists one of the biggest and most detailed custom maps in Minecraft, with many quests, a custom resource pack, mixed with a unique combat system, all delivered by the talented Content Team members working behind the scenes. Being a Multiplayer server in Minecraft, it means you have a chance to meet new people from all around the world as you progress, and possibly make new friends! (In fact, this book is written by some random people from different areas of the world)!

Wynncraft plays like one of your classical RPG games. You gain EXP by killing mobs, completing quests, and you get stronger by leveling up or obtaining new items, each unique with their own "magical prowess"! Play as one of four distinctive classes, all different from each other depending on your play style.

There are so much more to Wynncraft, and the Content Team are still working hard developing it with their cups of coffee late at night! So why not you try it out yourself?


Joining Wynncraft (Made on 30/5/2017)
If you already have a Minecraft account, joining Wynncraft is as easy as reading these instructions! All you need to know is:

1. Open up your Minecraft launcher and launch Minecraft (1.8 or higher!).
2. Click on "Multiplayer" and "Add Server".
3. Type in "Wynncraft" in the server name field and enter the server ip (play.wynncraft.com) in the server address field.
4. Set "Server Resource Packs" to "Enabled"
5. Click "Done". Now you can join Wynncraft by clicking on the server now!

If you have any trouble with joining the game, try checking for errors in the IP address, and make sure your Minecraft Client is up to date (Minecraft PC 1.8 or higher!). If you still have issues, be sure to contact [email protected]!
