Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Neal nods, staying silent.

 

"Would you like to redeem your first favour now? Or do you wish to stay here a little longer?" Eve asks.

 

"I'm done here, for now. I want the prosthetic to be my left arm; I can't use it much anymore since I switched the faction I serve."

 

"Very well. Let's depart." Eve says, opening a portal to the Realm of Shadows and stepping through.

"It's been lovely speaking to you, Thirteen, but I have to leave now. We should spend some time together again some time. I'd love to hear more of your stories." Eve says happily, giving you a kind smile before stepping through a dark portal.

 

I smile and wave.

I turn to Xelentia.
"Many of this worlds inhabitants are likely frightened. I may need to go calm some."
I state.

 

"You taking Crystal with you?"

Neal follows.

 

The portal leads to the inside of the palace, a few guards keeping an eye on Neal as Eve heads to one of the nearby elevators.

 

Her robe drips of evil magic as she walks, but she isn't using any.

 

Neal can barely feel something following her as the dials in the elevator seem to snap to positions, Eve's clothing being the only giveaway she even moved. Neal and Eve are teleported to the Shadow Palace medical ward.

"Wait here, I'll arrange an appointment for you." Eve says, walking up to the receptionist in the medical ward.

 

Neal turns around, left hand more like a tentacle with fingers as she uses it to scan for any life signatures.

 

There appears to be quite a few life signatures, though they're all from patients waiting for their appointment and the staff inside the medical ward.

 

Neal glares behind her, not happy about being followed as she pulls her robe over her face.

 

Eve returns a while later.

"I've got an appointment for you quite soon. They'll need to scan you over so they can create a new arm for you first, however." Eve says.

 

"I don't have an arm." Neal says, showing her twist of tentacles making up her 'arm.'

 

"An arm isn't necessary, they just need a scan of your body so they can see how your arm would actually be like and create it for you." Eve says, smiling.

 

"Scan me at your own risk."

 

"What do you mean?" Eve asks, confused.

 

"If he wants to."
I say, turning to Crystal as he seems to think for a few moments.
"Where are you gonna be going?"
He asks Xelentia.

 

"Hell comes to those who malpractice Eldritch magic."

"Just gonna walk around. Look for not dead stuff."

 

"They were just going to scan over the structure of your body so they could make your arm. Not try and practice your magic." Eve says, confused.
