"Well me and Xiudar have settled our differences and besides. With him being stuck in a humans body it would probably be a bad idea to go against us. And believe me. It was not like this at first."

 

Sorry all I won't be able to reply today... again. I think only 4 weeks of school left. Last two weeks we have a film-festival where we make films but before that its exam week. Anyways, I finished some artworks in my spare time so I just uploaded them!

They look so much better then the others. (Might be because they are bigger?)

Who's left to make? We have: The royal family, Zeisha's team, the Balrog and maybe Octavus.

 

Luratos grits his teeth. "Alright. If you die, it's the end of all of us!"

"Nardel!!" Luratos shouts. "Come here! The rest of you, keep her busy!"

Nardel lands in front of Fen'ris, air spirits creating wind around him. Luratos talks quickly to Nardel about the plan.

Fen'ris nods. "I have to break the contract with you two, right?"

Yes. Basil says.

Fen'ris nods; he closes his eyes and chants. Bright light flash from Fen'ris - Scar and Basil stand in front of Fen'ris.

Luratos unbinds Jenna, who rises into the air. "I'll form the spell with the crystals." She says.

"Let's go!" Luratos shouts. Kaya's chain forms shoot towards Sylphaxaura, curling around the crystals. Nardel closes his eyes and starts chanting, as a large patch of ground starts glowing, forming a circle. Fen'ris alone stands in the circle - Luatos places the crystals behind Fen'ris.

Sylphaxaura screeches. "Retreat!" Luratos shouts to the others. The ones fighting Sylphaxaura turns and escapes the reach of the monster's scythe. Sylphaxaura's centipede catches Mylith on his back, sending him hard to the ground. Sylphaxaura brings down her scythe. Mylith rolls and gets up, but one of Sylphaxaura's legs sink into his thigh. He screams and thrashes around.

Jenna swoops in and hacks at the leg, bending it. She grabs Mylith and flaps furiously to stay afloat. Sylphaxaura looks around, looking at her enemies, who stand panting away from her reach. She turns her gaze towards Fen'ris, who stands the closest to her.

 

"I want my pay, and I take it you want to kill." Fen'ris says, "Boy, have I got a proposition for you."

Fen'ris attempts to start a contra with Sylphaxaura.

 

Sloth slows time as he approaches Rathius, Asakeryu and Remilia - but they are ready. Remilia shoots upwards with wind, and Asakeryu draws his katana and in the same movements slices at Sloth.

"Gah!" Sloth ducks low, then jumps to dodge Rathius's tail. Remilia shoots downwards. Even with time slowed, she moves extremely fast. Her boot connects with Sloth's face, and she brings the Sin to the ground. She swings her sword, but Sloth rolls away. He spits blood onto the ground, then roars and attacks again. Asakeryu swings his katana from Sloth's back - successfully hitting him.

An explosion knocks the three back. Sloth drops to his knees and hands, coughing up blood, which is an unnatural colour of black.

Wrath hits the ground with so much force, the stone pavement cracks. She rises, picking up her giant sabre. Kludrin lands, in front of Wrath.

Green light flash, surrounding the griffin. When the light clears, a brown-haired man stands, a thin longsword in hand. Though he looks nothing like the griffin, he somehow resembles Kludrin - the same ancient eyes, his firm expression.

Pride coughs, holding his abdomen. "Tch. My healing's not catching up." He spits, then looks at Kludrin in his human form. "You're kidding, right? You..."

There is a thunk as Kludrin's sword sinks into Pride's side. "Ughhhnnaaaaa!" Pride drops on the ground. Kludrin swings down his sword, but Pride uses his legs to throw Kludrin overhead. Wrath swings her sword at Kludrin while he's in the air, sending the griffin in human form into a house.

"Pride. We're retreating." Wrath murmurs. Pride's wound flares up with purple fire - he nods.

Sylphaxaura screeches. She starts towards Fen'ris. Jenna shouts a command up in the air just as the tip of her tail enters the magical circle on the ground.

Fen'ris shouts, "Sylphaxaura, I form a contract with thee!"

Everything around Fen'ris goes black. He finds himself standing in an endless field, the sky above him black. A girl rises a few meters away - without her transformation, she is only a short girl with messy black hair. Yet, she is unmistakably Sylphaxaura.

Sylphaxaura looks around her with her head tilted to one side. She turns her gaze to Fen'ris with her mouth half open, an innocent look on her face.

Her whole eye turns black. From her back, two scythes dig out of her skin.

This is inside my mind. I have to beat her or... Fen'ris thinks.

Fen'ris floats off the ground, forming several magical barriers around Sylphaxaura.

"Tell me, why do you want to kill?" Fen'ris asks.

 

"The Aurallian government has taken extreme measures to wipe out the Rogues. Normal soldiers we can deal with, but a number of soldiers with more strength and faster reflexes started appearing a few months ago. Many of our members of the Rogues are monsters and spiritualists, but none of our magical attacks seems to affect these new soldiers. Since they overcome almost all of us on the ability to fight, we've been slaughtered."

"And the Witch's Cult?" Tisaun asks.

"The Witch's Cult is killing anyone for no reason throughout the whole of Tamnátia. But there is one Cultist that have been hunting us." Eugio says. "We don't know anything about him or her, as there are almost no survivors from their encounter. They are most likely a Sin, and the survivors tell of a fully cloaked and masked man who builds up chaos as he sends objects all around the place with some sort of telekinesis."

The demon shifts his body, and the spike shatters on his hard back. I have to get closer to him!

The demon roars, then his body starts to glow. The air around him starts to shimmer with heat.

Wha-....

FHOOOOM! A shockwave radiates around the field, emitting extreme heat. The magicians closest to the demon drop to the ground dead, and many who are farther away drop unconscious or gravely burnt. Abro grits his teeth. He lowers his arms, which were protectively thrown over his face, and looks around. His skin tingles, and he sees smoke rising from his body.

"Wait, no...." Abro blinks. Am I the only one standing?

The magicians on the tower seem to be affected too. Some are still on their feet, but the cannons seem to be off aim.

The demon lets out a breath. It seems more tired, and his skin has lost its bright glow.

Throsgar nods, looking thoughtful. "Say you can do this magic and you can trap Gramoul's soul. However, one thing concerns me - this Balrog can respawn over time, is it right? And it appeared out of nowhere. What if... this monster possesses a body of a goblin and mutates it to become another Balrog? Surely if it was an S class, its body won't be blown merely by explosives."

Sylphaxaura blinks. She speaks in a quiet, creepy voice - "Why, I wonder? ...Maybe because I enjoy it." She swings her two scythes behind her, hacking at the barriers. She breaks out, then leaps at Fen'ris.

She's strong. But this is inside my mind - I must have the upper hand!

A low hum can be heard from Yggrdasil's heart. Then Ventus feels himself coming back to Reality. Lynn looks at Ventus and smiles. "Got anything useful?"

 

I walk towards Gluttony, seeing Sloth is distracted I should be able to get to him without getting attacked.
Once I reach him I plant my claws into his back and tear it open.

 

"Hm." Setinel nods. "I don't wish to trust you fully, as this world has suffered from the wrath of the demons. But if what you say is true, it will be a fact that a demon can change."

Hasher looks at Vysticia. "He wouldn't be able to enter the town, can he?"

Vysticia nods. She looks at Lucian. "Captain Lucian, a lot have happened since you left on the expedition to Arnuma. Our King has allowed the Purifiers to take part in military actions. As a result, monsters are being hunted throughout the towns in Aurallim. I don't suggest... taking this demon to any city nor town. It won't work."

"The Purifiers...!" Lucian swears to himself. "If we are to make alliances with the giants, we must go to more war-like tribes. To do so, whether we like it or not we need the help of non-human creatures."

"The King limits our actions. We can help, can't we?" Sylvia asks. Setinel nods.

Lucian looks at Jack. "Jack. Would you help us? I mean, we have no other choice. We can get more soldiers, but that won't be enough."

clank! Rathius repeatedly thrusts his claws into Gluttony's back.

God, this is hard! Rathius manages to sink his claws into Gluttony's hide. Black blood sprays out. Upon contact with Rathius's skin, it starts burning. Rathius growls and jumps off instinctively. Smoke rises from Rathius's claws.

The dragon rises again to attack Gluttony.

Pain erupts at Rathius's side, and he feels himself crashing into a house. Wrath lands in front of Gluttony, and whacks her sabre at Lucifer.

"Why is she here!? Where's Kludrin...?" Rathius growls and looks around. The sight makes him stop in shock.

Wrath and Pride are in the air a few streets away, fighting a single figure in the air - evidently Kludrin in human form.

Then who is this...? Rathius thinks as he rises against the tall woman standing in front of him.

 

OOC: Wait is that a clone of Wrath that landed infront of me and attacked me?

 

Yep.

 

I cough a little while getting up.
"What was that. That hurt."
I stand up and look at the woman in front of me.
"Who are you?"

 

"Telekinesis , huh ? Well , i cant think in nothing like that ..." I say looking up , thinking on something that could do such a thing . "Anyway , what do they have with the Rogues , i mean , in the army i saw that you guys sneak people into provinces but thats it right ? I never went into the border protection part soo i never really got to know ." I say scratching my head "But yes , if it comes down to it , i will help you guys fight"

 

Fen'ris teleports several meters behind her and sets up several more magical barriers.
"Well, you enjoy killing, and I enjoy making a quick profit. I think our goals align." Fen'ris says.

 

"It can be blown by explosives. I saw it, and did it myself." I add.

 

I stagger to my feet, then look at the demon.

"Go back to whatever hell you came from!"

I charge the demon, aiming an ice spike at it's exposed arm socket

 

"Yes, I must go to Arcuntar." I say to Lynn

 

"We'll help."
