"Oh, some fox teased Ragnyon so I went over there to make sure they knew that they aren't to get in our way."

 

"No, other than evil intentions. I don't like her very much." Eve says.

"She never told me hers. Generally, an introduction should go: 'Hello, my name's name, what's yours?' 'My name is name. It's nice to meet you, name'. What difference would my name make to her, anyway?" Eve asks.

 

"That's nice of you."

 

"She would've answered your questions. I told her my name after she stormed off. Literally everything that went down was because you wouldn't budge with your name." Sapphire shrugs.

"Sort of. Anyhow, any ideas?"

 

"I can see why."

I tip my head upwards in a 'hello' fashion to Sapphire.

 

She nods.

 

"Where's everyone else? Like, Abigail, Thirteen, and the rest of them?"

 

"No clue, no clue, no clue. Emerald might know. Should I call her?"

 

"She didn't ask. If she was more civil, however, I'd happily attempt a second introduction with her if we meet again with the information you've given me." Eve says.

"I don't understand why some humans have to be so annoying and illogical." Eve says, shaking her head.

 

"Sure. We could see what they're up to, might be something to do."
Crystal suggest.

"People have reasons for everything. Wether it be past experiences, or fear for the future, everyone has something."
I explain.

 

"Well, she's been listening to you this whole time."
"We'd get along more if you didn't insult me behind my back." Neal's voice echoes.

 

"I wish more humans could be like you. You're very intelligent, Thirteen." Eve says, smiling.

"Greetings, I'm Eve." Eve says, offering a handshake to the direction Neal's voice came from.

 

"EMERALD!" Xlentia shouts without warning.

Seconds later, Emerald shows up.
"Yes, Mistress?"
"Where's all the other little mortals who saved me?"
"Half of them went home."
"...Oh."

Neal materialized, accepting the handshake.
"Thanks for calling me stupid." She grunts.

 

"I was made to be."
I smile back.

Crystal seems dejected, then wonders something.
"What about the other half?"

 

"I never called you stupid." Eve says.

"Who created you?" Eve asks curiously.

 

"Maralune and Xyrnal."

"Annoying, illogical, unintelligent. Again with the implications, if you wouldn't mind! Whatever... I'm Neal, but your 'classified' Aj probably already told you that."

 

"He spoke very highly of a magic user called Neal, and not to kill you should you be her. He also wishes to give you a new arm." Eve says.

 

"A bunch of smart scientists that trusted the wrong engineer. They're all dead now."

I look towards Neal, and nod in the same way I did to Sapphire.

"Wanna go to one of those places?"
Crystal asks Xelentia.

 

"A what?" She asks, confused.
