Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I walk around, looking for anyone I know.

 

"Oh, well I guess you'll have to stay confined to your current body then." I say, shrugging.

 

"That's what I was saying."

The obvious place would be to go to the archives, but just glancing around, you don't see anyone.

 

I still walk around, looking for Aral'hrah or the Matriarch.

Aral'hrah is off in the den the group slept in, and the Matriarch is probably in the forest somewhere.

 

"I did not aggravate them. If anything they aggravated me. Now can you leave I need to put the barrier back up."

 

"Anyway, I should probably take you and Perry to her new home before this silence gets any more awkward." I say.

 

I approach Aral'hrah, making sure he's not asleep.

 

"I think I'll stay just to make a statement that not everything's about you. Just because a stranger doesn't sign a peace treaty doesn't mean you get permission to bitch about it from thereon out." Xlentia scoffs, stepping as such her torso is above the village. "Now, you either get to go apologize to everyone you pissed off or you hope I don't get bored and take a nap on your village."

"It'd only get more awkward if the mechanical demigod was listening." The toy shrugs. "It'd be faster if you just carried me there."

He's asleep with Akli'il, ironically just outside the den.

 

I opt to look for the Matriarch in the forest instead, seeing if she's asleep.

 

Her vine structure 'palace' is half burned down, and the Mantis seem to also be in relative disarray.

 

I look around for the Matriarch.

 

After an hour of searching, you can only hope she was evacuated.

 

I walk back to the den Aral'hrah was in, waiting for him to wake.

 

I turn to Perry.

"Shall I take you to your new home now?" I ask, smiling.

 

"Is this what it's about? An apology?"

 

"That and me undermining your authority."

"Yes!" She says happily.

An hour later, Akli'il stirs.
"Huh...? What're you doing back here, robot?"

 

I offer a hand for Perry to take, smiling.

 

She takes your hand, grabbing her mantis toy as she goes.

 

"Making sure everything's okay."
I respond.
"Is it?"
