I mean, taking the dash action doubles your speed for the rest of the round. And while under haste, you get an extra action, which, among other things, can be used to dash.

Umm... considering as we've already had a ton of encounters today, any more would be pushing it, so I think spending a spell slot is safe.

I point my palm towards ghoul 4, and for a moment, a glowing sun emblem (basically my current profile pic) appears, then a bright ray of golden slight stabs from my hand towards the ghoul, as I cast a Guiding Bolt.

Attack roll: 14 + 4 wisdom + 2 from = 20. Definitely a hit.

Damage roll:
4 + 4 + 5 + 2 = 14 radiant damage.

Seeing that the ghoul barely survived the attack, Erevan swears quietly and retreats.

The ghoul is now surrounded by a faint golden glow. The next attack roll against it has advantage.

 

Should be @Florfy5 's turn now. Note that if you attack the ghoul, you have advantage due to my spell.

 

Since I'm too far to reach it with my shortswords, I'll use my longbow.

Hit: First roll was 18, that hits.
Damage: 5 + 2 DEX = 7 Piercing Damage.


Btw, is a black dragon Dragonborn that is Lawful Good unusual?

 

I would typically assume that the alignment usually reflects the color. So a good black dragonborn would not be normal
