Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I type in a simple 'Hi'.

 

"I'm assuming, based on my launch, you need help getting somewhere? Or did you just want to talk to me?" The AI responds.

 

'Did you want to talk to someone?'
I ask.

 

"Not really. I'm just here to help, but sometimes people come here just to talk to me instead of getting help going to their location. It's sweet." The AI responds.

 

'That's nice.'
Pause.
'I was hoping to get to the Void, or more specifically, the Void Palace.'

 

"I have a location stored that's been used many times that relates to 'Void' and 'Void Palace'. Realm: Void, Relative Entity: "GoddessXlentia", Location Name: "Void Palace Library". I can open a portal there if it's the location you're looking for." The AI responds.

 

'That works just fine.'

 

"I'll open the portal for you, then. Have a nice trip!" The AI responds, before a portal to the Void Palace library opens inside the frame.

 

'Thank you.'
I type before entering the portal.

 

You find yourself in the Void Palace library, as you'd expect.

"I can see that being the case." I say.

 

I walk to the Maralune portal, going through.

 

"Though the other one had a specific reason to be inflatable. Makes it easy to adjust the firmness of lady Perry's mattress if she wants."

There's still a bunch of raptors near the portal, but the chaos has died down a tiny bit.

 

"I'm assuming you'd rather not be in such a...volatile body then?" I ask.

 

"That's why I intended to request a robotic body, but if you don't have the technology to make a soulless golem, then asking is futile. Besides, metal isn't very huggable."

 

"It'd take a bit of work, but I could theoretically merge your consciousness with AI code to allow you to control a robotic body." I say.

 

"If you don't know how this magic works, then you would not know how to transfer, or if things go south, undo the process."

 

"It's golemancy magic, isn't it?" I ask.

 

"No."
