Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I type in 'HELP'.

 

A long list of commands appears, so many you need to scroll upwards with the keyboard to see them all. A few of the commands you recognise from the previous entries.

Another message pops up.

"TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT A SPECIFIC COMMAND, TYPE HELP [COMMAND]."

 

"I'm not sure. If I do, it would be woven in my material."

"Sir, they're not cooperating, and they have another flower."

 

"Hm. I'm guessing you're some kind of advanced golem in that case? You don't have a soul, yet you have intelligence based in magic." I theorize.

 

"Give me a moment." I say, contacting CKB.

"Is it fine if I replace all the residents of the town?"

 

I scroll upwards and go over the commands, looking for any that might help.

 

"I've been called a golem before. In fact, they visited lady Perry's home on the night she was born, and the king and queen named their newborn daughter after that demigod - they only went by the name Perry. That demigod then let the Academy mages study them... and they learned little. However, they learned how to create sentience without a soul, and used that magic to create me."

"Like hell it's fine!! What the hell are you doing to my people?" CKB roars. "I will leave no survivors on your end if you don't stop lying your way through the grey areas of the contract and start holding up your end of this damn deal!"

 

"Alright then." I say, closing the line.
I then open up a line to my second-in-command.

 

The first command seems to be "REALMLOCATE", with a few numbers and then "EARTH". The next seems to be "CO-ORDINATES X" with a number, then the same with Y and Z. The fifth command seems to be "PINPOINTLOCATION" with what looks like a town's name entered, and the sixth appears to be "RELATIVEENTITYLOCATION" with some rather complex looking parameters. After that, the next command is "CHECKLOCATEWARP", and the console seems to have output extensive details on where the portal should open to. The final command is "PORTALOPENSHIELDED", and an output message of "PORTAL SUCCESSFULLY OPENED."

"That's very interesting. It sounds pretty much the same as golemancy. I'm guessing the other toy Perry has is the same?" I ask.

 

"Might I ask what that was about?"

"Yes, except they were not given as much sentience as I have. They are only capable of hearing telepathy, but cannot send it. Other than that, they work upon the same principles I do."

 

"Well, you're certainly an interesting...being. I think many people may reject the idea of having sentient toys for the fear they may turn evil." I say.

 

"Nothing of your concern. You are to wait on standby till further objectives have been given out." I say to the head of the survey corps, closing the line.

"Now, my second-in-command. As of today, I shall be retaking my position in Perniciosa. You are to govern a specific village in this realm, you are free to act under your own volition, and you are also, in name, independent. However, you are still to report to me. Understood?" I say, teleporting to the village with the flower.

 

I try typing in 'HELP REALMLOCATE' to see if it does anything.

 

A message pops up.

"REALMLOCATE - USED TO LOCATE AND SET THE REALM TO SEARCH. TO SEE A LIST OF REALMS, TYPE REALMS LIST."

 

I do so, typing 'REALMS LIST'.

 

A list of realms appears on the screen, most of them just numbers, though the ones that are in letters are "EARTH", "DARKREALM", "LIGHTREALM" and "VOID"

 

I try typing in 'VOID' to see what happens.

 

A familiar error message pops up.

"INVALID COMMAND. TYPE 'HELP' FOR A LIST OF COMMANDS, OR TYPE AIHELP TO ACTIVATE THE HELPER AI."

 

Done with taking my chances, I opt to put in 'AIHELP'.

 

Another message pops up.

"LAUNCHING HELPER AI"

A percentage quickly rises under the message, and upon reaching 100%, another message pops up.

"Hello."
