Warrior/Knight Help Infidel Build

So during today's dungeon bomb party I got enough fragments for Infidel but I have zero clue on how to make a build around it. So it will be greatly appreciated if someone can help me with this.

The format I want this is:

Helmet
Chestplate
Leggings
Boots

Weapon: Infidel

Ring1
Ring2
Bracelet
Necklace

This is for a spell spam build btw

tbh this looks pretty good, i'll probably save it for my warrior (but i'll probably use a different weapon or whatever)

Third Eye (at least 3/4 mana regen but preferably 4/4, at least 8 int, optional - 9+ thunder defense, whatever other defenses you want to get but thunder recommended) Fenmask (2/4 mana regen, at least 10% spell damage, optional: at least 400 poi)
Aquarius (preferably 6/4 and up and 17% spell damage or more)
Leggings of Desolation (23% or more poison, and optional: at least 900 poi) or Water Sanctuary (get from Corrupted Lost Sanc) or Dark Channeler (2/4 mana regen, at least 8% spell dam)
Capricorn (2/4 mana regen, at least 7 or 8 intel, at least 23% spell damage, optional: at least 20% ws)

Weapon: Infidel

Moon Pool Circlet (get from Hive, Water section) or Concentration (get as least spell damage as you can - 8% or below is fine, 2/4 mana regen)
Concentration (same reqs as above)
Squid Anklet (2/4 mana regen, at least 6% water damage)
Royal Stormy Amulet (get from WynnExcavation/merchant in Cinfras iirc), Diamond Hydro Necklace if you've beaten Legendary Island

sp spread:

23 str
110 int
65 agi

this is assuming you have a level 100 (which you don't yet)
add those +2 to str or int once you get 101

 

You know that Infidel requires 50 Dexterity right?

Because he wants to use Infidel. There are certainly better strategies than the one I'm using for Magnus, objectively, and better bows than it as well, yet I use it as my final build because I want to.

found some subsitutes

dreamcloud if you're going for a bit of a budget
i have one so if you need it i can sell it for you

boreal-patterned aegis has 2/4 and some good defenses
also has dex min so goes nicely with infidel
isn't as powerful as aquarius tho due to no giant spell damage number
you get this from hive

stillwater blue gives u 2/4 plus some intel
not sure where to get it though

ornamental plate has 2/4 and 15% spell damage plus 5 int so it's pretty good
also not sure where to get this

hetusol has 3/4 mana regen but really lacks in other stats so i wouldn't really recommend it

if u want a spear subsitute tidebinder can get u 4/4 mana regen and 26% spell damage and up to 13 int
pretty good tbh

too lazy to look for more but i'm sure there are a lot of good options

 

I think you should go with cancer build

 

What does that accomplish? It only reduces your overall potential spell damage and kills the melee which you're intended to reserve for a powerful Chain Lightning. Cancer literally destroys the main advantages of the item, and for what? A bit extra stealing(not like it'll proc reliably due to the attack speed) and some poison(irrelevant given the other abilities)?

 

You can cast spells faster...

 

This build is shit.
It has no clear purpose whatsoever, and sucks at both spells and melee.

 

Oh joy. Lose nearly 100% of your potential for the sake of casting spells about a half-second faster than usual. Oh I can see clearly now the rain is gone. What an astounding advantage that you must sacrifice the ability of the entire rest of the build for, how could I be so blind.

 

I forgot how utterly aggressively sarcastic you can be.

 

I'd use something like
anima infused
aquarius
vaward/electrocharge greaves for better melee n spell casting
memento??/riverflow maybe

reminder x2
diamond hydro brace
diamond hydro neck
0/whatever you have left/114/33/0
(dont put 100 in int, use your reminders, vaward and diamonds so you're able to get a bit more thunder)
