I Need Some Little Help

so i started playing wynn like last year or so and havent been on in maybe 6-8 months, missed out on a lot of new stuff like the powders being introduced, need some help on the basics again.. right now i have a level 92 warrior, lvl 84 assassin with a speed build, level 57 archer level 47 mage.. could you perhaps help me out and give me a few builds to go for these types of classes and maybe a good xp build to level up easier + a link to a price guide for items... thanks in advance -Tumblurr

 

Don't make builds until level 100, it's a waste of time

 

perhaps theres an xp build to use then to help me to get to 100?

 

Do the ??? quest and get the Cosmic Gear and Altum Spatium necklace. You can get over 160xp bonus (175 max) just with those 5 items. That's not including a bracelet, rings or a weapon.

 

I have that altum spatium necklace but it says i havent done the ??? quest yet i remember doing it before.

Spoiler: What You Missed - Gameplay Update

You missed a few major updates, starting with the Gameplay Update. It redid all the dungeons and added higher-leveled "corrupted" dungeons. To gain access to a dungeon now, you need to find and kill a mob called "[Dungeon] Key Guardian" which will drop the key. When you complete a dungeon, you will gain items that can be used to purchase pretty good items that are around the dungeon's level. The "corrupted" dungeons are more confusing, but let's just stick to the basics.

Powders were also added. There are powders for each element and six tiers of said powders. On weapons, they decrease neutral damage but increase elemental damage (based on the powder you're adding, the amounts are different. If you add two Tier 4 (or higher) powders of the same element to the same item, you gain a powder special. Powder specials are like secondary spells, they charge up as you damage mobs and will notify you when they are fully charged. Then you shift + attack to cast them. You cannot have more than one powder special per weapon.

On armour, they increase elemental defense in one element and decrease it in another. I assume you already know how elements work, because you did play Gavel. If you put two Tier 4 (or higher) powders of the same element on the same armour piece, you gain an armour Powder Special. These are passive buffs. Again, you can only have one per armour piece.

The Gameplay Update also added the VSS Seaskipper, which lets you travel the ocean at ease. For more, visit here, if you're interested.

Oh yeah, there's also boss altars. You sacrifice junk items and fight a boss that has a chance to drop pretty good items.

You can also re-identify items if you got terrible identifications. It costs 5X what the previous IDing cost you.

Lastly, sprinting doesn't affect your mana anymore. Instead, it affects you Sprint Bar (shown between health and mana) which, when it runs out, basically destroys your mana bar. Your Sprint Bar recharges over time.

Spoiler: What You Missed - Holiday Updates

For Halloween, they added a new quest ("A Grave Mistake") and also revamped the shop. Gold Coins are gone, replaced with items you can buy directly from the shop, like bombs and pets. The ranks were redone as well. For more, you can visit the shop page itself.

They added a new quest system and such, but this update was pretty minor.

The Craftmas Update (1.15) added a new quest ("Meaningful Holiday") and a special holiday fair where you could get special items and such. Again, not much new stuff. It's because the team was all working on...

Spoiler: What You Missed - Corkus

This is the big update. It added a new island (Corkus, for levels 80-100), new quests, and new dungeons. However, it didn't add much in the way of new gameplay mechanics (although you can trade any Tier 4 or higher powder for another powder of the same tier now).

Do the quest "The Envoy I" to get to Corkus and explore it. It is pretty cool!

Okay, once you've read those, here's what to do:

• Do the ??? quest. It was revamped and reset for everyone, and the solution is now publicly available (it isn't bannable to talk about). There's a section on the forums called ??? Hunt. It has the full solution, although you'll need other people to help you. It takes...a while, but it is worth it. After that, grind your high-level characters at the Demon Cave for some nice XP.
• Head to the Trade Market and search for new items. You shouldn't worry about builds until the endgame, but you should prioritize certain elements on each character:
  • Warrior, go with whatever elements you want, but MAKE SURE you do some water damage, because you'll be grinding at Demon Cave, where things are weak to fire. Oh also, DO YOUR CORKUS QUESTS. And add T4 or higher earth powders to your weapon for extra damage.
  • Assassin, keep up your speed build and prioritize Water + Air. Dexterity is fine, too.
  • Archer and Mage: don't worry about builds too much here, just put on whatever works best for you.
• Okay, that should be all the basics. Again, welcome back to Wynncraft!

Thankyou bro this helped out a lot, but what would u recommend for my assassin build, right now im thinking of prioritizing that class because i have archangel on that class and i mainly have air/water with that build, would there be anything else worth getting and where would u say the best place to find a group for '???' would be.

 

For the assassin, I would recommend this build:

• Crystal,
• Booster Plate (When you hit level 87 you can also use Gale's Freedom from Hive's Air Division),
• Spectre,
• Steamjet Walkers (Normally I would say Wind Mimic, but it is too high-level for you now).

Can't really think of the best accessories. You can also ask for additional help on the "Class Builds" section of the forums.

For ???, make a post on either ??? Hunt or The Planning Parlour, both sections of the forums where you can find help with the quest. There are even people who you can pay to help you with it! (Look at "Your Services" for stuff like that."

thankyou for your help, i already have the crystal and booster plate + an archangel and im looking for a pair of steamjets right now :) will take a look into class builds for the warrior since i think that it what im going to try getting lvl 100 first

1 more thing, do u know where i can report missing items... i just put my booster plate in for a re id since it had pretty bad walk speed and the server crashed while it was in the id bar...

 

Oh boy...

Wynncraft has a pretty strict no refund policy, but you can report the bug in the "Bug Report" section of the forums. You can also ask for donations from the community to help you get an ok chestplate, but the staff can't give you back the item.

Due to their server crash i cannot get my items back? i mean thats pretty stupid seen as i spent le on getting that item and then to lose it to their problem? sounds a little unfair tbh..

 

Yeah, I agree. I've lost items as well, but you have to understand that the staff can't give out items every time a player loses one. I mean, people could easily exploit this, saying "I lost my mythic" just to get free items.

Basically, if you do one of the new Corkus quests, it will give you enough money to buy a new item. Oh also, people found a bug where Arrow Shield can crash servers, so maybe wait a bit before playing.

 

do u have anything to replace my chestplate? i literally have 2le to my name and i got rid of most of my gear that i had on other classes because they had terrible id's and i needed space. i have some chestplates but i need a different build for them or they're too high of a level to use.

 

You can probably buy a Booster Plate for 2le. Check the Trade Market section.
