Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"One hell of a freezer. Thanks for showing me."
I say happily.

 

"Shall we continue with the tour, then?" Stephanie asks, smiling.

 

"Our world is named Maralune?" She asks, also confused.

"No wonder so many people are after you. However, you realize that I technically have permission to flatten you and your kin for aggrivating my servants?"

 

"Yeah, at least, I think it is. So, who's Maralune anyway?" I ask, "What do they look like?"

 

"Their toy is made to resemble her."

 

"Oh, you mean the Matriarch? I can arrange a meeting with her easy." I say happily.

 

"The what?"

 

"The Mantis Matriarch, right? Maralune I'm guessing is the name she forgot." I say happily.

 

"Let's."
I smile.

 

Stephanie crawls back out of the freezer, putting the now starting-to-melt food back into it after you crawl out before heading out of the kitchen and back to the room leading out to the garden, taking a right into a large room with a table, unlit candelabras resting on top of a cover over it, and evenly placed wooden chairs, felt cushions on the bottom and back.

"This is the dining room, where we usually eat our large meals." Stephanie says happily.

 

"Do you just eat regular meals by yourselves?"
I ask curiously.

 

"Usually. Most of us either eat in the living room or in here, but dinner is generally when we gather to eat together," Stephanie says, "Before this adventure, we'd cycle between chefs every day. One person would be responsible for cooking dinner for the rest of us. I personally always liked what Shadow Stephanie made, but she does know what I like best."

 

"Considering that she's a Shadow of you, I'm not surprised."

 

"If she looks like the toy, then yes."

 

"We've really stuck together through hard times." Stephanie says, reminiscing, before coming back to her senses.

"Oh, sorry, let's continue the tour." Stephanie says, heading through the dining room to a closed door which she opens.

"Alright, I'll get Perry a meeting with Maralune after I've made sure her house is ready." I say, leaving the room.

 

The queen nods, hugging Perry.
"Mommy, where is he taking me?"
"You'll be safe. I promise."
"Is Missy Maralune coming? And Wolfy?"
"Yes, hon, they are."

 

A surgeon walks into the room soon after.

"Ah, you must be the queen from Maralune. Your husband is due to make a full recovery. He's currently in one of the hospital bedrooms, as he'll need to stay there for a few days so we can monitor his healing to make sure everything is alright. You can go see him, if you wish, he should be conscious soon." The surgeon says, smiling.

 

"Nothing wrong with remembering things."
I say, following.

 

"I'll be fine. I want to... figure out how I'm going about the kingdom."

 

The door leads to a room with various instruments hung up against the walls. A violin, acoustic guitar and acoustic guitar seem to be actually hung on the wall, while a drum set and piano merely rest by it. A computer and mixing board also reside in the room, presumably to record the music from the instruments.

"This is the music room, where we practise and record tunes and songs on our instruments." Stephanie says, heading over to the violin and taking it down.

"There are a few relaxation facilities you can use in the palace should you need to de-stress." The surgeon says, before leaving the room.
