2 Breathing Helmets?!

Hello! I have an issue where I have two breathing helmets. I'm only supposed to have one. When I try to drop one, it says "You will need this item in later quests!" This is a great system, but someone who completed the quest dropped one and now it's taking up an inventory slot until I do some level 60 quest. Space is something I lack on. I posted a thing in the Github help, but never got a response. Can anyone help?

 

You cannot pick up other people's quest items and you cannot even drop them! This could possibly be because you have multiple classes and you get one for each class.

 

How many classes do you have ? Maybe it come from another of your class ?

Put something in every slot of your inventory and put the Quest Item in your crafts slots.

 

You sure it's not acquired from your other class?
Anyway u can get rid of quest items by filling up ur inventory and taking quest item out while its full. U can get it back when u need it by doing /fixquests.

 

Theres a glitch to drop them and let other people pick them up though

 

Quest items disappear instantly when dropped

 

I've reported that exact glitch

I actually did pick up a creeper head once when it was still a quest item

 

Then it was yours(probably idk).

First of all, if you drop a quest item, it will disappear, so there is no way you could have picked one up.

A solution to drop one of the helmets is to (with the helmet in ur inven) fill your 9 by 4 inventory up completely except one space for the helmet. You can use emeralds for this. Then, put the helmet in the 2 by 2 crafting area, and leave it there. Then put emeralds into the empty space, so it is completely filled up. Exit out of your inventory, and it will be gone.

Wait what? so that bank class (for my quest items) was entirely useless???

 

There are some quest items that serve absolutely no purpose.

 

I've picked up a helmet of shimmering light off the ground and other quest items too, don't know how someone glitched that but they were definitely quest items and not just untradable items from quests.

 

alternatively to remove 1, create a new class, go to bank at ragni, take the quest item, delete class

1. Create a new class
2. Take your 2nd Breathing helmet from your all class accessible bank (Ender chest) while on your newly created class
3. Do /class and delete the new class you made (That has your 2nd breathing helmet in it's inventory)
4. ????

then throw em to the daily reward and close it with them inside
