Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Do you want the information or not? Even if it is a trap, one raptor is hardly a dent in their population. Plus, we're trying to starve them out..."

"Confused. You made me comfused!" She complains, Laze heading outside.

 

"And how would you feel yourselves, having the raptors starve you out, hm? What would you do?" Artemis asks.

 

"They're not that smart. We don't need to care about hypotheticals."

 

"Your ignorance will be your downfall." Artemis says ominously, before heading back the way she came.

 

"Don't lose your chance." They respond.

Nobody else seems to be in the lower clearing of the castle.

 

Artemis looks around the lower clearing of the castle curiously, occasionally testing the walls for hidden buttons or levers.

 

There are no other hidden anything.

 

Artemis heads out of the castle, her jewellery and other valuables disappearing into black smoke as she looks around where she can go.

 

She can go to the marketplace, the back alleys, or out of the city.

 

Artemis, smirking, heads to the back alleys.

 

There's not much there, but they're too narrow to use her scythe much.

 

Artemis looks upward, seeing if wall jumping is a possibility.

 

It is, but spider climbing would be more practical.

 

Artemis, deciding to test her skills, walks back a bit before running and turning into a wall, climbing it before leaping from wall to wall, keeping her momentum as she jumps to the top.

 

It's a bit narrow for this technique. She just barely doesn't make it to the roofline.

 

Artemis uses her scythe to hook on to the roof as she jumps, leaping upwards and flipping onto the roof at the top, panting from the action.

 

Upon looking around, there's nothing on top of the roofs except for a mage a few houses to the left of Artemis.

 

Artemis walks over to the mage, mindful of her footing.

 

She seems to be studying a book that's woven into her robe, not paying any attention to Artemis.

 

Artemis waits patiently to be noticed, smiling.
