[rp] Mortal 11/11

His name is Gramoul. He was one of the six demon lords who ruled the world under the Fist Dark Lord, the Eye. The other demon lords; Ragnok, Luidar, Quarg, Yurmal and Warga, were 'slain' in battle. Gramoul fought in the dwarven lands until a powerful god-monster (called a Divine) tossed him into a volcano. He was reborn much weaker than his original state (which was SS class like Sylphaxaura), in his S-class Balrog form.

Suddenly Asakeryu's body is jerked down. A force pulls him towards the ground.

At the ground, a giant-like monster with orange scars and horns stand in the ground in midst of soldiers and monsters, who hack at it. The monster has a huge mouth with rows and rows of teeth. It looks big enough to fit two Asakeryu (in his fox form) at once. You are being pulled towards its open mouth.

 

"Hmm... if I recall correctly, while his body is that of a Balrog, his soul is all that remains of Gramoul, an incredibly powerful demon lord... I'm not sure if destroying it is even possible. However... there are certain types of shadow magic relating to the binding and imprisoning of souls... while I've not walked these paths myself, they seem potentially... promising avenues."

Sena looks towards the woman. A red, ball-like crystal had appeared on her forehead. Red patterns have formed on her cheeks down to her neck.

Sena blinks. A vision overtakes her for a second.

Sena, around 18 years old (appears like 6 years old) stands amidst a black circle of charred ground. Her family lie on the ground, pools of blood around them. A pair of horns grows from Sena's forehead. Her body glows. She is panting hard. The monsters who had slaughtered Sena's family are piled around Sena, all dead.

Sena, too shocked for words, looks up as light suddenly flashes above her.

A woman with white wings descends from the sky. She has a pair of intense, purple eyes, which seems to take in every detail of the world. She has red markings all over her body, and a gem on her forehead. She wears strange white robes.

"Heir of Devirra." The woman speaks with a warm voice. "You possess immense power. I shall hide it from everyone, even from yourself."

The woman lands lightly in front of Sena. Her eyes flash, and she places her hand on Sena's forehead, between her horns. She shouts a command in a strange language, and Sena's vision goes blank.

With a jolt, Sena comes back to reality. The same exact woman stands in front of her, a black metal mask over her eyes, her wings now purple.

Sena gazes at the woman. The woman from the day her family was killed.... She was a tengu.

The girl jumps back, gritting her teeth. "Ugh." She looks up at Jack.

Damnit. Too shallow! Jack thinks.

The girl shoulders her scythe. "You are good, I admit." She says. "It's a shame I have to kill you!"

She swings her scythe again, spinning around, the scythe forming like a whirlwind.

 

"And why exactly is it that you have to do that?" I ask under my breath while I jump backwards away from her ready to block her next attack with both swords and lock her scythe with them.

 

Fen'ris asks Scar and Basil, "Hold on, is it possible to bind an S-class?"
Fen'ris readies his daggers and prepares for another charge.

 

"Yes, I wish to be stronger and be like the wind I came from."

 

Is there anything holding me, or is it a mystical force or something?

If it's a mystical force...

I'll fire light magic into it's mouth to make it stop. If that fails, I'll switch to my half-human form and use my katana as a wedge and handhold while I send light magic down it's throat until it lets up.

If something is grabbing me...

Cut the grabbing thing. Problem solved.

 

"Can you even trap Gramoul's soul?" I say.

Oops, forgot friday

 

Confused as to why the woman seems to have changed features, and unaware of what the woman meant by "Heir of Devirra", Sena softly asks the woman why she has appeared.

 

I'm pretty sure that she just erased your memory or something.

 

Knowing Gluttony, it's probably himself pulling you towards him. He just opens his mouth and inhales A LOT of air, pulling you into his mouth

"To be honest , nothing ." I say shrugging a bit "I am planning in talking to a friend at Jeymell , maybe go to Freelands ."

No he is not nearby. (holy shit you're close)

He's not going to appear until further into the Witch's Cult Arc

Nothing happens.
"Ah..."

The demon plants his foot into the ground in front of Abro, then kicks the Feldurim with his other foot. Abro feels pain rush through his body, then finds himself in the air. The impact of you hitting the ground knocks the air out of you.

Abro groans and looks at where he was kicked. He felt a lot of pain, but there was no apparent damage. The kick could've blown him to pieces - yet he was intact.

So... the spell in the pendant stops worst of a blow. Abro thinks. The impact still can kill me if it's bad enough.

 

"If you can do it, it would be for the best. But Uadlokii is right - can you do it?"

Whoosh.

The Calamity Witch and Envy appears in a dark alleyway. There are no people around - they have been evacuated. An orange glow of fire is visible in the sky near the castle of Arcuntar.

The Witch places a hand on the wall. "Envy." She says, her voice deep. "I cannot maintain this form any longer. Use her power to take Eight and the others back. Then... you know what to do." The Witch, in her form of a little girl, looks at Envy as if emphasising a point.

"As you wish, Mistress." Envy bows. There is a crack in the air, then a shadow rises from the Witch's body. It disperses fast into the air.

The red glow in her eyes disappear, and the girl staggers forward. Envy catches her. Even though the Sin is shorter than the girl, she holds her without effort.

"Wake up, girl." Envy whispers into the girl's ear. Her head jerks up, and she looks around, a look of fear on her face. She finds Envy in front of her and seems a bit relieved.

"It is just as we have discussed." Envy says to the girl. "Pride will trigger them - collect their fears. Our Mistress has returned to her real body."

The girl nods. "He's here, isn't he?"

"You need not to concern. He is."

The girl nods. She purses her lips and obeys as Envy holds her hand and pulls her towards the sounds of the Sins fighting the Rehniarians.

"Please... be alright, Octavus." The girl whispers.

The girl grits her teeth as she pushes down with her scythe. Xiudar's shadow magic curls around the scythe, holding it in place.

The girl looks up suddenly, as if listening to someone talk. She nods slightly, then she shouts, "I unbind you, Setinel!"

There is a flash of bright light. Jack is knocked back, but rights himself.

A young man appears in front of Jack, between him and the girl. He has black hair and a trench coat that goes down to his knees. He holds the same scythe in his hand. He looks back at the girl, who pulls out two knives from the back of her hips. Together, they charge at you.

It's possible. Scar says in your mind. You'll probably unbind us first, and maybe break our contracts during the span in which you bond with the S-class.

Hmm... Your friend next to you will have probably heard of this particular creature. He is a god of the winds, and also is a Divine. He cannot exist in this world in a form unless he possesses someone or is summoned by a ritual. His name is the Fūjin.

"How do I find him?"

Young one. You might not think yourself strong, but you are stronger than most. Why is it that you want to be strong? To help someone? For self-satisfaction?

 

"And what will happen if I bind Sylphaxaura? Does she just turn into my prisoner? Or will I turn into her prisoner?"
