With the way this guide's made singer would have about 900 or less dps

 

Does it mean I'm better off with cluster rather than stinger then? Cause I have one with high poison and life steal.

Normally stinger's better because the poison but the thread doesn't calculate IDs which is why Cancer isn't up there (over 1.7kish at max

 

Alright, and I don't wanna sound rude or ignorant, but what's the point of this guide if it doesn't show an actual DPS but rather base dmg "DPS"?

 

Here's an example of why this guide is useful:

Look at Cata, it's dps is way higher than that of other classes at base.
This shows that Cata doesn't need much buffs from armor, it only needs HP.

As a result, people build HP, which makes Cata really frickin OP in the good hands, because people were able to look at this guide and analyze it.

Well shit, there goes all credibility to these values!
Some weapons' powder slots affect their dps a LOT., ex: cataclysm with full powders adds about 100 raw thunder to it.
Other weapons have ids that very directly increase their damage, ex: specialist.

remember, different people put different powders on their weapons, so they're just using the AVERAGE dps with powders

 

I know, but just adding 18 isn't representative. The main point is that hes not considering identifications either.
