[rp] Mortal 11/11

Akri kneels in front of the throne and bows. Vyrdiin and Uadlokii follow suit. "Hail, King Throsgar, King of the Mountains!" Akri shouts.

"Raise your heads, my warriors." The King rumbles. They stand up.

"My King," Akri says. "I have come to report for the battle and the fall of Truskan."

"I have received word from a messenger." The King says. "But I want the accounts told from you, Akri."

Akri proceeds to tell about how the goblin forces seized the guard towers outside the town by sheer force alone. By the time the dwarves realised what had happened, the goblin forces were almost to the gate. Suddenly the Fallen Demon Lord has appeared out of nowhere, and breaking the dwarven ranks, attacked the gates repeatedly until it melted a hole, from which he broke the doors. Akri told about the battles that followed, then introduced Uadlokii and Vyrdiin.

"A shadow and fire, against the evil force of the Eye, and from whence the spirit awake." The King says. "The prophecy..."

He turns his head towards the two demons. "I genuinely thank you for the good you have done in the battle, demons Uadlokii and Vyrdiin. Our race hates the demonkind, especially goblins, so I am sorry for the disrespectful actions of my people."

"But yes, as a King, I cannot trust anyone fully until I know them myself. Do tell your story to me, and I shall decide your fate."

Akri looks sideways towards Vyrdiin and Uadlokii. Throsgar looks down at the demons.

Something in the King's eyes tells that he is no ordinary dwarf. It makes you uncomfortable.

She jumps up, over your spike. She spins and lands crouching on the scythe's rod part, which stays mid-air and does not fall. Jack is so startled by this, he reacts a second too late. The girl jumps upwards, yanking the scythe off Jack's shadow hand, and cuts downwards from the back. Xiudar's shadow makes a shield, but the impact knocks Jack to the ground, on his stomach.

Remember! That scythe is alive! Xiudar growls.

Sylphaxaura is too fast. She swings her scythe faster than Fen'ris's eyes can follow, but Scar catches it before it could hit Fen'ris. Sylphaxuara's centipede body squeezes the piece of rock, cracking it. Luratos, panting hard, comes next to Fen'ris.

"She is too powerful." Luratos murmurs. "By this, I have no idea what to do!"

 

The woman looks shocked at what she had done. Firnen gags, but he starts to rise from the ground. The woman feels her fist with her other hand, her head facing forwards. Elves start to charge towards the woman from all sides, five of them.

The woman suddenly crouches, then moves so fast, even the elves seem slow. She knocks each of them with her hands and legs, finally landing lightly as the elves fall to the ground.

A skeleton-like monster, holding a large shield and a longsword, comes behind the woman. She starts to whirl around, but a jolt goes through her body. She gasps and drops to her knees. The skeleton pulls its sword back and pierces through the woman's stomach.

Sena cries and starts to run towards the woman, feeling that something has gone terribly wrong. The woman stays expressionless, even when blood tickles out of her mouth. The monsters start retreating towards the trees, to the elves' surprise.

Her purple wings suddenly jolt outwards. From her body explodes purple energy, which starts to circle around the woman, then shoots outwards in every direction. The nature spirits of the elves form shields around individual elves, but the monsters too close to the woman, even the skeletons, are hit by the energy and are knocked to the ground, smoke rising from their body.

The unconscious elves that the woman has knocked out are tossed into the air. The other elves catch the bodies with fast reflexes, and start to retreat. Sena starts to retreat, when another explosion comes from the woman. The force is so strong, the nature spirits are blown apart, removing the shields. Sena and Firnen, who are closest to the woman, look at each other. Firnen's eyes widen at something. Then a force hits him and sends him tumbling into the trees, where he hits a bark and he goes limp.

The woman stands up. Her arms are spread, her face looking down. Her hair slowly turns snow-white.

Sena realises that she is the only one standing. She looks around, seeing that almost every elf are knocked out, save for those outside the range of the energy, fighting monsters. Sena sees something above her vision. She touches her forehead, feeling something solid above her eyebrows. She frowns, then gasps as she realises what they are.

A pair of short horns.

Ventus can feel amusement from the spirit of Yggdrasil.

What is wisdom, young wind? She asks, her voice gentler now. What do you seek in it? I can guide you to it, but what do you hope to achieve from finding something you call 'a great wind'?

 

I fire another ice spike at the demon, while attemping to mask my horror, and failing

"NO!!!"

 

I look at Eugene and then back an Alberich "Im Tisaun Sodeta , from Sarmir . Im planning on getting through Aurallim , but as a soldier of Reinhar , i dont think i would do it as easily as last time"

 

"Very well," I tell him. "We have to fight."

I'll follow my plan, turning into a fox and using my agility to work my way down. If an enemy that can fly or something comes at me, I'll shoot it down with light magic (since they probably contain dark magic).

 

"I am Uadlokii. In need of...practically anything to do, I came down here to help the dwarves to fight off the lesser demons. Personally, I fucking hate goblins." I say.

 

Not having the slightest clue of how to react, Sena simply asks," How?" To nobody in particular, just to get it out of her thoughts. However, it still lingered. What would the queen think of this? Or did she already know?

"I know not where to begin... the shadowy realms in which I once dwelled are... hard to describe in mortal terms. Trying to apply such abstract concepts as form, direction, and time, is almost meaningless. However, suffice to say, it contains certain... ancient and powerful forces, some of which I gained the enmity of... my memory is hazy, but a dispute, and a betrayal by one I believed to be an ally, ended in my banishment. Since then, I've been a wanderer, until now, when I seem to have become caught up in your war."

 

"I wish to be like the great winds, I think they may teach me how to be like them and I fell many times stronger inside of them."

 

"Hey, what happens if we just leave her alone?" Fen'ris asks, stepping back for a moment to catch his breath.

 

I try to jump to my feet. Then I am gonna use my tactic of shoot to throw the other off balance and then leap in to slash. The girl will probably try to block with the schythe so I will let her with one of my swords but try and stab her with the other.

 

Another blast from the tower, but since the demon is directly under them, they miss, and the ground between the other Feldurim and the demon explodes.

"NO!" Abro summons an Ice Pierce, lowering his mana to 20.

It disappears into the wall of dust, then a pained roar comes from inside. Another Feldurim sends a burst of wind which disperses the dust.

The demon's back has a giant ice crystal buried into it. The demon looks back, an expression of rage on his lizard-like face.

The demon starts running straight towards you and the other group of Feldurims, roaring. The Tower cannot fire its cannons.

 

I fire one more ice pierce, in a desperate attempt to stop the demon

 

Yeah... I haven't had time to do one for a long time. I was planning on putting Vyrdiin, Uadlokii, Tisaun, Ventus and Sena all on one, but I changed it so its Sena, Ventus and Tisaun, then Vyrdiin, Uadlokii and the Balrog.
I'm finishing Sena Ventus Tisaun one first.

"Hate goblins...." Throsgar thinks about this. "It seems that we have got ourselves dangerous allies." The King smiles wryly.

"What should we do about the fall of Truskan though, my King?" Akri asks. "Their possession of a Balrog and our loss of Truskan has put us greatly in danger."

"The Goblins' move after taking Truskan certainly won't be attacking Ogovith - we still have many forces and powers left. They will probably attack Duggon, the town north of Truskan. Thus, I will send your army and you two (looks at Vyrdiin and Uadlokii) to Duggon to prepare for a siege."

"What about the Balrog?" Akri asks. "It was beyond any of our powers to defeat that monster." He looks at the two demons to elaborate.

The demon roars and deflects the spike with a swing of his arm. It sinks into the demon's skin, but he keeps running. Out of mana, Abro tries to jump to the side.

The demon's fist connects with Abro. Something, a force, stops the fist from connecting his body. A powerful jolt goes up his body, and he is sent into the air.

"Gah!"Abro lands into the ground. The demon starts running towards him again.

Abro's pendant glows and becomes hotter against his skin. Was it the spell inside the pendant that saved him?

 

"Uadlokii was able to slay it's body, with considerable effort and a lot of explosives... but destroying its spirit is another matter... it regenerated within minutes. Calling it an S class may be an understatement."

@Gushy48 just tagging you so you don't repeat what I just said.

 

"She will continue to rampage until she reaches the elf town Emin Huill or Seminar." Luratos concludes. Sylphaxaura screams and arches her body up into the air.

The remaining warriors come back to each other. Luratos seems almost drained of energy, as a result of binding three monsters at once.

Fen'ris's thoughts flash. Three monsters bind at once. No Vilphan could bind three monsters at once during the period when they were trained. That needed the Vilphan themselves to have a great amount of Spiritual Energy, a lot enough to host three. After years of training and fighting, Fen'ris's spiritual energy surely have been increased...

Luratos whispers, "Jenna, I unbind you." Jenna appears behind Luratos, looking tired. She uses her remaining crystals to heal the others.

Mike and Kaya's weapons forms point themselves against Sylphaxura.

Cylessa, Airin, Mylith, Kendel, Nardel, a Feldurim, four Aurallians are left, with Luratos, Kaya, Mike, Jenna, Fen'ris, Scar and Basil. Ilcia, Trianna, one Feldurim and three Aurallians have been killed. Wyrmin is unconscious, placed on top of a tree by his brother.
