This is a really good example of inflation. You do not want to sell it for less than you bought it for. This mindset is prevalent in the marketing community, leading to the price of items increasing more and more.

In the real world, second hand, third hand or even fifty-seventh hand items should have their price decreased over time due to the drop in demand as more of the item becomes distributed (since quality is not an issue in Wynncraft as items don't expire or deteriorate). In Wynncraft, however, where currency holds a much less meaning and more of a simple wager, players feel much more free to mark-up their prices based on their purchase price, instead of marking down. This leads to everyone selling items they own for more than they bought it for. Do you really think an economy like this will prevent inflation? You are actively and blatantly contributing to the inflation of Wynncraft. Not that it's unreasonable, since greed is human nature. However it is quite infuriating for you to act all saint while openly pulling shit like this. A simple 'I value this as higher than 20 stacks' would have been sufficient, even if untrue.

 

This is untrue in wynncraft because secondhand items retain all of their value. Nothing happens that could 'lower' the quality of the item. Regardless, of you don't want the item or have further comments about the price, don't post. ;c

I literally said that in my post. However the demand will drop as more are found. Just because the quality doesn't drop doesn't mean it's worth more each time it's being sold. It's just being greedy, and that's okay. There's nothing wrong with being greedy. There is however, something wrong with being openly greedy and attempting to deny it.
