Adamantine Or Montefiore?

So I want to kill the bosses of the quests "Temple of Legends" and "WynnExcavation Site D" and I want to pick one, which one would you say is better for each boss? Vote and comment below!

 

I'll go with the nonexistent Adamantine, since Montefiore isn't that great

Adamantite will be better for the Corrupter, as the defense boost and massive health will help you tank his rapid neutral hits. However, the element defense will be fairly bad against the enemies in WynnExcavation Site D, as they deal many multiple types of element damage.

 

Adamantite is just as shit as ever. Use Montefiore. The Raw hp regen is very useful.

 

You won't get a chance to take advantage of that regen against the Corrupter with his constant hits cancelling it out. Since he has no elemental damage to work against Adamantite's massive health pool...

 

Against the corrupter, his sight range is short enough (in my experience at least) to where you can literally knock him to the side of an arena and sit on the other side to regen. OVerall, montefiore is just better, and modifying your build just for a boss fight is not something I recommend.

If you're an archer, assassin, or warrior, you can arrow shield/storm, war scream, or vanish to run away from corrupter and safely regen,

Having a massive health pool doesn't make you tanky, even if he does do neutral damage. He will do far too much, too quickly, and will quickdrop you unless you go for full fire.

EDIT: If anything, I recommend millennium. Good skill points, raw hp regen, and spell.

 

His sight range is 64, which is more than the entire arena's width. And actually, against neutral damage, yeah it kind of does.

 

Then you can spell cycle and perma blind him to regen regardless.
As we said before in our debate, this is one of the very few circumstances where adamantite is somewhat useful. But, @DarthFather0379 if you have to modify your build to use it or buy an adamantite for the sole sake of this fight, don't. Its not worth it, just use a montefiore.

EDIT: If you wanna argue about why adamantite is still a shit legendary, discord me. I thought we already established that its kinda bad.

 

And if you're a warrior? Or if you don't have a mana build, which Montefiore actively inhibits?

 

Using a spell build has absolutely no issues with montefiore. Spell builds RARELY use melee attacks at all anyways,
If you're a warrior, like I said, adamantite would be useful in this very specific circumstance, but if he has to modify his build to use it or buy an adamantite, its not worth it.

Adamantite is still shit, by the way.
