    There's a difference if you read it hard enough. The first was directly suggesting to buy from someone else, and the second was a recommendation to lower the price

    In a way it is stealing customers, and its just... Not nice to do. The buyer should know their prices, their fault if they buy something for higher than normal.

    by that logic, scamming is perfectly ok, because 'let the buyer beware'.
    Don't get me wrong, its true that the buyer should have some degree of caution, but if a seller outright lies about the value of an item, and the buyer trusts them, thats not their fault.

    Is there nothing wrong with hijacking or derailing someone's thread? I interpreted it as that because he directly said that it's a bad idea to buy something that I'm auctioning, and I said it wasn't a scam because of what he said.

    I'm getting defensive because it's my personal auction and I would prefer it if someone didn't try to detail it because of their opinion.

    Suggestion to lower the price, not a suggestion to not buy the item.
    Plus, you did lower the price because it wasn't fair.. so wot

    Yes, it's not right to value an item at a higher price than it is by lying to the buyer and saying that it is a fair price, but that's not what's happening here so I don't understand what this is about.

    Now, can we not have a flame war on an auction.. please? I just want to sell an item, without anyone trying to dissuade people from buying it because they wouldn't..
