    [4/5] Relend: "Whoever enters this portal, beware the darkness inside." Well, I didn't see anyone else in that place, I suppose they died.
    "Whoever enters this portal, beware the darkness inside." So they supposedly died, but there are a bunch of ruined houses. What could this MEAN? - LiquifiedEmerald
    Well, probably that Relend is right: everyone who entered died. But how, and why? I wanna hear spectulation from YOU guys, and if a thread like this has already been made, please link it to me.

    What about the Realm of Darkness? Or maybe they are the same? I always thought the Realm of Darkness had the same influence over Dern like the Realm of Light has over Gavel.

    The Realm of Light doesn't completely purify Gavel, but if the Realm of Darkness completely corrupts Dern (if they're even related) then maybe Gavel will be pure someday?

    Not necessarily, most likely Gavel will get worse with the villagers' greed which is the cause of the decay. We don't know why Dern is dark and corrupt in the first place either, just that it is somehow related to the RoD.

    Is it confirmed that the villager's greed is the cause of the Decay? I know someone in Olux says that, but it's only a theory.
