"And won't that give you the justification to beat them up?" I say, smirking.

 

The guard just lets Alice enter, not commenting.

 

Alice starts brewing a cup of tea but falls asleep in the middle of her kitchen.

The guard smiles before giving you a concerned look.
"As much as I would like that... it seems counterintuitive to our goal of increasing productivity."

"Still, be careful."

"Well, nothig wrong with staying outside on a nice day!" Linoa says happily.

 

"The Phoenix... at least it's less destructive then The Leviathan." I say cautiously

 

"The Leviathan is only destructive if people do something bad to the sea. You know that." Anne says, jumping into Phoenix's talons.
"See you on the other side!" She shouts after you, being carried quickly over the ocean as Phoenix quickly disappears over the horizon.

Well... better start walking.

 

"That girl is going to get herself killed..."
After a few minutes I reach the island and see Anne waiting

 

Once Alice (eventually) wakes up, she finds herself in her bed.

 

"I would ask you what took you so long, but I already know!" She giggles.

"Again...?" She groans, storming out of her house.

 

"Not funny..." In an angry tone

 

Anne just keeps laughing.
"Oh, come on. I've been waiting for hours! It's hard not to laugh in my situation!"

 

"Wait... what do you means hours? I left five minutes ago."

 

"Oh, it felt like hours." Anne shrugs. "Anyhow, she's being escorted by the dragons because she can't walk, it seems. Not on her own. Plus, she seems to have tons of favors from their alpha."

 

"So the rumors are true. The Prophet has arrived. And dragons? What are dragons doing all the way out of here?"

 

"How long has it been since you've seen one?" Anne asks, unimpressed.

 

The hallway is silent.

 

Alice rushes out to the detective's office, a bit uneasy.

 

"It's been many years and by that I mean 300 years."

 

"Then you didn't get the memo that they live here." Anne says bluntly.

 

Once Alice arrives in the detectives offices, nobody seems to be about. Or rather, everyone seems to be in their offices; the norm for the detectives offices.

 

Alice moves towards her former supervisor's office.
