Serious Jester Set Question

If you equip the jester set, you get the xp and loot reduction, if you equip two pieces, you get melee damage and a few negatives, and if you equip 3 pieces, you get spell damage.
My question is, can you use two rings and a necklace and still get the same effect as having a ring, a bracelet, and a necklace?
Id like it to be tested in game before you just say "no it doesnt" or "yes it does."

I don't think so, because it checks for whether you have the ring AND the bracelet AND the necklace.

If you wear 2 jester rings, it doesn't count as 2 parts of the set it's still -25% xp and loot
so if you were wearing 2 jester rings, some other bracelet, and a jester necklace it'd be -50% xp and loot, -ws, -spell dam, +melee dam, only acting as 2 parts of the set even though you were wearing 3, unless this has changed I believe this is correct.
