Man , that was spot on

 

As the shields begin to break, I begin to move over to the survivors on the ground and attempt to shield them from the demon.

 

"What... Is that?" I ask Lynn

 

omg sorry guys this happens every once in a while I can't go online for a few days because of some incoming tests... and I was away for a while...

Pride raises his hand without looking, and a purple fire explodes in front of Rathius. Rathius leaps into the smoke, shielding his face with his arms. As he breaks through, Pride punches Rathius square in the chest, and there is a crack.

"Gah!"

Rathius lands few meters away, holding his chest. He hunches over and coughs blood onto the ground. Gritting his teeth, he slows his breathing so his healing factor (being dragon 'n all) can repair the damage. He coughs up more blood.

Pride faces the crowd again. This time, a fat man stands up. Euclius. He holds up Octavus the collar as he struggles.

"Take the boy. And do not deal any more damage onto this castle!" The man snarls. Pride grins.

Thunk.

Euclius falls back, holding his stomach, which has a spreading patch of blood. Pride grabs the boy by his throat. Octavus screams and struggles, but the Sin throws him into the table, where he drops to the ground, shaking.

The girl lets go of Tisaun's smoking arm with a cry. Tisaun grimaces as his skin burns, but twists and attempts to kick the man's arm.

This does not budge the man's arm. Tisaun, feeling tired, slumps down.

"Oh well. You got me."

Ember sighs. "Let him go, Eugene. He's a friend of Max."

The man suddenly lets go, and Tisaun lands painfully on his side. "Really, now?" Eugene lifts an eyebrow.

"Really!? I'm glad Max is doing okay and making friends!" The girl says as she grins, turning her hand back to normal.

Vysticia looks at her opponent as she jumps through the smoke with Seth's scythe. A young boy, black hair, his body engulfed in shadow. No way he wasn't the demon.

Vysticia lands, holding the scythe far from herself. She squats on the ground, facing the demon.

Vysticia stands up, and pulls back her hood, revealing her olive skin and her straight black hair. She takes a step forward.

 

"No" I cough more blood.

(2 things I know about dragons.
1: They are immune to magic. (probably OP, so we probably won't use that.)
2: They don't 'breath' fire. They breath a toxic gas that they store in their stomach, they ignite the gas in the mouth somehow.)

Sena jumps over the slime monster, thrusting her sharp part of the staff into its flesh. It screeches, then drops to the ground, dead.

Across the battlefield, she sees the elves have eliminated most of the minor monsters at the edges. Now the bigger ones, who look stronger and stay in the middle, engage the elven warriors. As she starts to run towards the bigger monsters, a flash of purple hair catches her eyes.

A woman with long, purple hair stands in the middle of the big monsters, a shackle and chains around her neck. She has a black mask over her eyes, leaving no space for her to see. She wears a black dress, but nothing special.

Uh huh. They aren't immune to magic, but are somewhat resistant towards it. They are stronger against magic in dragon form, but not so much in human form.
And dragons can 'breathe' fire in human form, though it takes lots of energy and only a small amount comes out compared to what they can do in dragon form. But it's possible. (if you do it now you'll kinda scorch the people around you)

 

The whole toxic gas thing was for something else.
I thought that if I don't ignite it, I can use it to 'paralyze' opponents. You know, breathing the gas into their mouth eventually going to their longs and killing them.

Fen'ris gets ready for combat as Trianna, Cylessa, Kendel and Nardel rush in from the sides to get the crystals. Sylphaxaura screams again, the eery sound echoing through the woods.

They put the crystal back together, forming the barrier again. Sylphaxaura seems to be attacking the barrier from the inside - a section of it flares up with light.

Fen'ris, the crystal! Basil shouts. One of the crystals near where Sylphaxaura is attacking is wobbling. It topples over.

BAMF.

The barrier breaks again. Pure shadow, in a form of gas, explodes outwards, covering the section with a Feldurim, Luratos, and two Aurallians. Screams come from the shadow cloud.

Yeah. You should try blowing toxic gas into Pride's mouth. (oops)

The dwarf raises his hammer. Akri grits his teeth. "You. I order you to stand down, in the name of Indigni Clan. If you fail to do so, your clan will be held responsible."

This seems to shock the guard. Gasps and murmurs come from the dwarf bystanders. Akri snorts and walks past the guard, who lets out a shaky breath. "Very well. You shall enter."

Vyrdiin and Uadlokii hurriedly follow Akri as he stomps into the King's room. He seems to be angered.

The demon breaks the shield again, but the last one holds. Using that time, Abro helps the Feldurims up and sends them off. One of them, however, seems to have a burned leg. The demon growls, then starts to bound off to other groups of magicians.

 

Can I, or do I need to be in dragon form?

 

Lynn smiles. She says quietly, "That is the heart of Yggdrasil. The Great Spirit that guards us Amazons all."

She lifts her hand towards the orange heart, as if trying to reach it. "Close your eyes, and feel her consciousness. Feel her recognise you, then ask a question or for an advise. If she deems you worthy, she shall answer you."

That was a joke... (pretty bad one, by that)
No you can do that in human form.
(BTW your healing is good enough that you can move and fight now, even though its still painful)

 

"Gah"

Again I rush at Pride, sword ready.
When I'm in range I open my mouth and breathe out the toxic gas, creating an area filled with the gas making it hard to breathe for most people.
After that I slash him on his back with my sword, seeing he was distracted with the boy.

 

"The silent type, huh? Fine. Let's just fight then..."

 

You really gonna fight her straight away?! Shouldn't you try to talk it out, ask what is going on and such?

 

I did ask her and then she just stayed silent ;_;

I follow him in, staying silent until addressed.

 

I cast Smoke to cover me and the fallen Feldurim. I try to help him to his feet as fast as I can
