Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I was... actually hoping you could rush it."

 

I nod.
"She's currently being healed by some of my associates. If there's something wrong with that, I can get her back here."
I offer.

Crystal just continues to watch.

 

"Are you sure there's nothing else you'd like to do before you become one of my children, then?" Tenebrae asks.

 

"We're trusting you."

Eventually, a lifeguard swap goes on off to the side, both teams getting in position and throwing practice balls out of the pool.

Alice pauses.
"Yeah. This."
Alice stabs herself through the heart with the light dagger.

 

Alice wakes up leaning against the statue, a curious Shadow quickly teleporting away once they realise she's awake.

 

"Thanks."

"Here we go."
Crystal says to Linoa, still watching.
OOC: *watching intensifies*

 

She slowly gets up, looking for any stab wounds.

The guard just watches the Matriarch.

As the game starts, half of it looks like sloppy ball passing and the other half looks like a combination between athletes trying to push people away from the ball and then not drown.

 

She's completely unscathed, since she dreamed everything.

 

She touches the statue again, before considering climbing up onto it more completely.

 

Nothing happens, thought something tells Alice she should probably climb into the hands of the statue.

 

Alice makes a wing-assisted leap up to the hands of the statue, hopeful.

 

As she reaches the statue's hands, she ends up falling into a portal, arriving in a strange realm. A strong, blinding source of light seems to be coming from one direction, while a potent darkness comes from the opposite direction, which Alice seems to be drawn to.

 

Alice turns to the darkness, moving forward.
"I did not know you shared a realm."

 

"There's something you're not telling me. What's the catch?"

 

The darkness quickly envelops her, and she can soon see Tenebrae gazing down at her.

"I share it with what mortals would call my 'Husband'." Tenebrae says, lowering a gigantic hand for Alice.

 

Anne sighs.
"It summons the Leviathan."

"You're in for a big surprise once you're done with me, in that case. Hope you haven't had any children."

 

"What sort of surprise?" Tenebrae asks, suspicious.

 

"It won't be a surprise when you go through my mind and bones."

 

"Is telling me really that hard?" Tenebrae asks, sounding mildly annoyed.

 

"No, but it may taint your relationship."
