Bismuthinite [permission Problem]

If you owe a Bismuthinite wand, you might notice this issue: Whenever you try to interact with anything you will get a message in chat "you don't have premission for this area". Now, i am aware of this problem in items but no matter the place in your hotbar, the items you have, or what you try to do. It won't let you interact.
Now I find it really annoying when I use bismuthinite as my main wand so I can't stick with it when I try to for example open a chest, thus my charged spell is reset.

This is because the item you were using is a retextured half-slab, and the game thinks you were trying to place it as a result it says you don't have permission to. To fix this right click with an empty hand or your soul point. Not much else you can do, I know losing a charged powder special can be annoying.

 

Yes, that's because the item is most likely an item used in plugins, and since you have to permissions it doesn't let you interact with doors and other stuff.
The only way to fix this that I can think of is to change the plugin (which is probably something like worledit, or voxel, so you can't change that easily)

But (i dont question you I just don't get it) bismuthinite uses the same white wand texture as many others, but i can use wands with the same texture with no problem

 

It happens with any wand with the same texture. Such as Bob's Mythic Wand, Hive Infused Wand, Cascade and so on....

 

If you do f3+h, and look at bismuthinite, it will probably say the block is a slab, and iirc all wands of that texture have that problem.

Yeah, it does. If any retextured item is a building block of any sort, it will give this error message because it thinks you're trying to place a block. Hard to fix unless the devs are willing to recode an entire world protection plugin.. which won't happen. Just use your soul points and you'll be fine.

 

It only happens after the item is dropped on the floor
