I can't imagine it would be that hard. You have like, 5 different, easily accessible runic alphabets online like The Futhark. After looking at the Nii and Uth runes, I'm sure they're semi-competent in runic dialects.

 

I think he's referring to how long it actually took to build it, rather than the creation of the actual language. If he wasn't, why would he mention "on top of ???"?

Which is to say, probably not very long. It's just finding out the right angle, then building the letters in a large enough size. The font's pretty pixelated anyway, so it's not that difficult.

 

If the whole content team was in this, it wouldn't take long. To cover the wool w/ world edit is simple, but the symbols may have taken about 30-60 minuted if multiple people worked on it

Where I said "hard" I was thinking of "time-consuming", just came out a different way. I agree, he is referring to how long it would take to create the dialect, although it's not a language, it's not like "Bloomi" is a Wynnic word that means "Trademarked".

 

Either there's some miscommunication here or you just said the complete opposite of what I was talking about

I believe it is miscommunication, I didn't say the opposite of what you were talking about . Sorry to admit but I didn't read the second half which is what I intended to say.
But I think I misread the thread's title;
"Howw Long Did It Take To Make The Wwynnic On Top Of ???"

I read this as "How long did it take to create the Wynnic dialect while also creating the ??? quest", I didn't put much thought into it. I just realized it meant "How long did it take to build the giant Wynnic phrase ontop of the area beyond the mesa".
But I'm an avid builder and if you're adept and creating custom paintings and have a command to control how fast you fly, it couldn't be that hard.

Can't remember who did it, but it didn't take too long. Just building takes a few minutes, and after that you can just enlarge the letters with worldedit

 

*cough* tanti and i *cough* Honestly this kind of things, when the letters are properly done, don't take a lot of time to do using worldedit ^^
