The trio bring her through before nodding, slowly fusing with her.
"Thank you."
"You may not be forgotten."
"Be wary of the child."
They say, before all four seem to vanish.


Xlentia can be seen gliding over Katie's house, looking for Aquira's ship.

 

Mortius returns to his home universe, closing the portal.


Aquira's ship is quite close to Katie's underwater home, what remains of the crew on board quickly hiding.

 

Xlentia lands in the water with a splash.
"Heeeeey girlfrieend!" She calls happily in a singsong tone. "Special deliiivery!"

 

Sidus steps out onto the ship.

"Excuse me?" Sidus asks, confused.

 

"Where's Aquira?" Xlentia asks, smiling.

 

I just wait the night out.

"Yeah."
Crystal agrees, looking what types of buildings they fly past.

 

Sidus jumps off the ship, swimming down to Katie's, and by association his own, home.

A short while later, Sidus returns to the surface with Aquira.

"What is it?" Aquira asks, neutral.

 

Eventually, one raptor wakes up and comes out of the pile, resulting in every other slowly stirring and also coming out.
Eklir opens both eyes, showing he's awake, but makes a point to emerge last.

Inns, small craft shops, a bar or two... feels like a standard town.

"Take good care of her! It's a girl!" She says happily, loosely holding an infant draconian in front of her. "Don't forget to name her, feed her, and all that!"

Pause.
"Oh, yeah. Don't let her die. If you lose a fifth of my power, I am soooo stomping on you and your crew."

 

"I wonder if this vixen will be ok with me sleeping here for tonight... better be careful not to disturb her."

 

I stand up, standing out of the way of the entrance.

"Where should we go?"
Crystal asks Linoa.

 

Aquira's expression brightens up, taking the infant in both of her arms.

"Sidus, what should we call her?" Aquira says happily, looking at the infant.

"Hmm..." Sidus says, thinking.

 

There's enough room to not touch her, if you keep a few tails outside.

"Morning."
"That felt good."
"The mantis still asleep?"
Kuno just yawns.

"I dunno. Maybe there's a city center with a map?" Linoa asks, flying up a bit.

The infant opens icy eyes, yawning.

Xlentia smiles, deciding to stay and watch.

 

"Morning, everyone."

"Maybe..."
Crystal looks around for one.

 

"Well then she seems very much asleep." I look up into the sky
"Better get some sleep still have ways to go."

 

"Hello there, little one!" Aquira says with a motherly tone, smiling.

"How about Kiin?" Sidus suggests.

"I like that name." Aquira says, smiling at Kiin.

 

"Is rent included of that intent to not sell?"

 

"Uneventful night?"

Linoa seems to spot one at roughly the same time as Crystal, flying down to it.
"Restaurant near the east gate, or cafe near the north?"

"A-am I Kiin?" The infant asks, shifting weakly with rapidly increasing intention and strength as they try to, and soon, sit up.

Sliding in for the night, you end up waking up before the vixen. Maybe you should book it while you can?

"Yes, Kiin, you are," Aquira says happily, smiling, "I'm your mummy. I'm called Aquira."

 

"I haven't thought of that. Quite a foolish oversight of me." I say, "Anyways, does this city belong to a larger government?"

 

"No, we're independent, and the lack of tribute payments has contributed greatly to our development."

"Momma... Aquira?" Kiin asks, crawling up Aquira's arm.
