Why Is Class Deletion So Slow....

i needto delete a lvl 60 class, and it will take almost 10'hours,...... why does it take so long....

 

To prevent people from accidentally deleting their class.

 

a delay of 10 minutes instead 10 hours would be better

 

When adding a convenient, but risky feature, accidents are prone to happen, making lots of room for error is a necessity for a feature like class deletion, because common sense is unfortunately a rarity these days.

 

So I won't delete my main by accident

 

*Switching classes before leaving for the day*
*Accidentally right clicks class and doesn't notice*
*Comes back next day*
"lol get rekt kid"

In other words, no.

 

class deletion haves a confirmation system, at least you confirm the deletion of the class it wont happen

 

well you know that a class has a longer deletiontime with every 10 level or so.
this means that low level classes are easy to delete while mids - highs take ages.
the reason is, that it is very unusual that someone wants to delete a class where they put so much effort in to level it up.
also many ppl often change there minds over things so thy wynn-staff is abit more careful with higher level classes to prevent moaning from ppl who in the end didn't wanted to delete there class.

tl;dr: It won't be changed to prevent players from begging the staff to restore there class even though they can't either.

In the end the only thing to say is sorry that you're unhappy with the current situation, but i can't see changes in the near future.

 

It happens constantly. Complaints about accidentally deleted classes, that is.

 

how people is so dumb to right click a class, then confirm the deletion and all after it wait the 10 hour with out joining that class or stopping the deletion? i really can't figure it out

 

Same way people have terrible spelling all over the internet, or share dumb memes, or do anything stupid

 

Pressing Escape in the confirmation screen will cause the class to be deleted
