Build My Second Try At A Cathedral.

This cathedral is based off the cathedral di santa maria del fiore, but is not a replica. I took ideas I had and got from a few other cathedrals to make this one.

Maybe a bit more color. Try making it kinda worn down by breaking it a bit and adding moss and cobwebs. That might look a bit better. I like it though!

 

I think that would completely ruin the whole idea of the cathedral. It's a huge grade cathedral not rundown at all.

Not a big fan of the square designs on the wall. And sometimes said, 'squares' get too repetitive.

I there any chance you could post screenshots without Shaders, I like the design, but there could be flaws that Shaders pretty much pushes under the rug. (Basically, I think that in order to give criticism, there needs to be pictures without shaders, so we can see the build in it's entirety without all the pretty effects)

 

If you would like to try the gothic approach to a cathedral, perhaps use larger windows and a LOT more flying buttresses. It looks very nice as it is though =)

For what you were going for, it's perfect. I don't get why people are giving you tips when they're not builders and you are lol but hey everyone can judge, I guess

 

I don't really like to put myself on top of people just because I'm a builder. There are people out there wayyy better than me that are not on the Ct and if I just assume I am better than anyone not on the CT I can't learn anything.
