you can't just get it price checked by one person and say that's the price.

I started to pricecheck my own items since people thought the pricechecks i got for other people were overpriced, so now no1 complains about my pricechecks and think my prices are more legit, but i gain that experience by reading ALL the more than 1000 pages in the pricecheck thread

 

i do the same, but i always confirm with someone else to see whether that price is fair

price checking my own items is always better cause i have some experience about price checking, still, almost all the time i sell them for a lower cap, like if i price check them as 5 le i sell it for 4 but what @RogP says is better, always confirm the price with another pricechecker.

 

true, i started off with asking a lot, and after 2 months of selling (over 200 items) i built up my own database of price and its reapective item and id. Now i just refer to that for items i have sold before, and ask around when new ones pop up.

oh btw i know this is not a good place to ask this, but wt do anyone think of the idea of setting up a open source public database that generates the average, max min, standard d and even possibly price track with time period and toggle able time calculating scale range. Aiming to build such thing from only actual transections that happened, (no offense to price checkers). Problem is the input of data is only from players and there is no way to detect and separate the troll inputs.
plus i doubt if anyone will input or use it at all

 

Got it price checked by 5 ppl actually, and I just took the average. Tho ye I did count on stag's price a bit more
