Any Class Help Rainbow Tank, Not Useless, But Not Always Useful?

Well I'm starting to feel bad with rainbow tank builds.

It seems it is just good for PvP. It can be good for PvE, too.. but do we need that high element defenses on PvE?

My warrior is wearing 2 parts of hive armors + Morph-Stardust and have decent defense stats. (Over 50%)
But on Legendary Island, it just ended on Silver I (Without potion huh..)

My assassin's rainbow items are just 'Nii Shako' and 'Clock Amulet', but has high defense stats. I used potions and beat the Legendary Island many times, but it can do better than warrior without potions.

Now I'm STILL confused about it.

Unlike @TinaChan , as the PvE focusing player, do I need to remove some hive armors and put for defense stats?

basically he's saying that rainbow builds are strong in PvP but not so much in PvE and he's asking if he should replace some of his tanky armour for more glass cannon-y armour

well in PvE most mobs don't do a lot of elemental dmg, most of the time elem is pretty much equal to neutral damage, so I'd recommend using Hetusol instead of Boreal Patterned and going for a water/fire build
also if you wanna be slightly more tanky but deal less damage you should use Seipodon

 

neither of those can be considered tank builds.

The distinguishment is that they are tanky, but they are not tanks.

 

just note i do not take damage from mobs at all, and i can solo the island. honestly tanks are more suited to pve then pvp

 

blue mask, gravtiy, gemini, fermion, 2x prism, prowess, diamond fusion neklace, (if warrior: guardian) (that build i'm using)

You wanted a rainbow tank (well this is the best I could find, it has over 1k on each)

 

Actually it's defensive water build.. not the full rainbow tank

 

Water ??? why water ? (it doesn't have any extra water (gemini gives extra air+thunder))
