Media Hide And Seek Recap And Review!

Hey everyone!
On April 22, 3 PM EST, An event was held!
This event was the Second Ever official Hide and Seek Event!

The rules were simple:
Five moderators hide, (@Pretzule @Ganny @JuicedBananas @PillowPet @BeeMiner ) the players find base off of hints that the moderators created and shared. The hints were:

Round [1/5]:
Through the castle past a room up high,
Overlooking where ships say goodbye,
Sitting in a wooden chair,
Through the glass we stare.

Spoiler: Explaining The Hint:

Explaining It:
It was talking about a hiding space, in a tower maybe? near water.
Most likely the docks, however I don't know because I was not able to find anyone this round.

Round [2/5]:
Up a pipe from a lake,
The only path you will take,
A winding twisting water hole,
Will lead you to your next goal.

Spoiler: Explaining The Hint:

There is a sewer system by a lake, with twisty and turny pipes. That is where they hid?

Round [3/5]:
In a really high tower overlooking the shore,
Found near the place with people that soar,
Inside, up and above the gears,
Is where you will find your peers.

Ugh, I knew where to go for this one right away... But I fell off of the cliff and didn't get there in time.... Anyways, it was in a big tower over looking the ocean X- 1239 Z -2993

Round [4/5]:
FIRST HINT:
Under a watch tower,
A place with water power,
Out the water flows,
And o’er the wheel it goes.

SECOND HINT:
We are overlooking the sea,
Being as clean as one can be,
Through the barracks you zoom,
To find us hiding in a wash room.

Spoiler: Explaining the Hints:

First one: Under a watch tower. It was not actually a watch tower, rather it was a clever play on words. The real meaning as far as I am certain was referring to the clock tower, which has a clock that looks a little like a watch. From that we can discern that it is under the watch tower, AKA near and lower that it.
A place with water power. Self explanatory.
The next hint is similar to the previous one.

Second hint: This one was more exact. And almost all of the hint is self explanoatory. After this hint was revealed, the location was immediatley found. Hell, I was half way there when the last mod was found.
The first phrase gave it all away.

Round [5/5]:
In a room under a tower,
Where the lawless cower,
Down a winding staircase,
Is a prisoner’s final place.

Spoiler: Explaining the Hint:

As the rounds went on, the hints got harder and harder to decipher. Eventually they got so hard (this one here) that I couldn't decipher it. Sorry!

The Goods and Bad's of the Event:

Goods:
The event was meticulously planned. Each hint made sense yet they were still hard to decipher.
The location of Corkus Island was a good idea. It gave people a chance to explore with rewards in mind. And it is way smaller than an entire province.
The communication was excellent. Pretzule let everyone know what was going on every minute of the event.

Bads: (<-- No pun intended)
Many people are new to Corkus. This timing made the hints harder than they should've been. Also there are many areas blocked off to people who haven't finished quests yet, so travel was hard.
It was relatively short. (One hour 18 minutes)
Each round was finished really fast in the beginning. But it slowed down.

It was shorter than we anticipated, but at least not as long as the last hide n seek event that took hours. I honestly was tempted to reply to King_Kaelan's punz ... lawl, but protocol prevented me. We in mod chat had a good laugh about not BEEing found yet.. thx xD

 

I found PillowPet in less than 10 second for the last round, I think he thought I was cheating XD

Actually I saw "tower" in the riddle, there was a tower next to me, I thought it was the alcohol one, but it was the one with the prison.

I'm lucky :D
(After that I only earn bad things in the crates but well... That's how luck works, one time it work, the other time it fail.)

 

Wait did the prision have a giant water tank in a room near by?

 

Maybe... XD I was dreaming too much of the 50 LE to take care of what was around ._.

 

The prison (round 5) did not have a water tank. The wash room (Round 4) had the water tank .. it was labelled "The Shower Room". The water flows out over a water wheel.
