Wondrous World (rp)

Lucien runs outside and morphs into a bird. He then flies to the nearest island that isn't a Volcano Island.

 

Nami

Guard: "We are aware of that. Inconveniently though all our best assassins are currently out on missions." Someone walks out of the temple. You feel like you saw him before. Skilled trainee: "I told you I could do it since they aren't coming back for a while!" Guard: "It's to risky to send someone who isn't a master at the art to retrieve his son. We've had this conversation already."

 

Nami: "And who might you be?"

 

Lucein

You fly away. Five minutes later the island explodes. Lava is everywhere.

Skilled trainee: My name is Bob. I'm still training but everyone's been telling me that I've been doing exceptionally well. I feel I could complete this mission, however by the laws of the legends I'm not allowed to."

Nami: "And there's no way to bend the laws to allow you to take on the mission? This is quite important, as I don't know of anyone who can go on the mission."

(If only I was using my summoner character... He has an assassin :P)

 

Nami

Guard: "No. The law states that important missions like this are only to be handled by the true masters of the needed art." Bob: "I'm excelling in all of them. Isn't that worth something?" Guard: "Yes, but are you a master in any of them yet?" Bob stays silent.

Nami: "Well, do you know of anything we CAN do? They'll likely execute the prince if we stage a frontal assault, so that's not an option... Any ideas?"

 

Nami

Bob: "I can't do it myself because of the rules, but maybe dress up as one of them and pretend to be in their group? Maybe you could get somewhere with that." Guard: "No, we must wait for the master of the correct art."

A. Free Action

 

Nami: "Well, we can't just leave the king's son as a hostage!"

 

Nami

Guard: "I think it's the safest option. Better to wait than to be heisty about it." Bob rolls his eyes.

Nami: "I don't particularly like this... If Bob dresses up as one of them, we would likely need another assassin to make a likely victory, but they could be brainwashing the prince, so we can't wait too long."

 

Nami

Guard: "Bob can't go, and neither should you. We should wait for the master of the art."

B. Wait for the master assassin
C. Think of a better plan

Nami: "And how long will THAT take?"

 

Nami

Guard: "Maybe a day or 2. But if we try without him and the prince dies because of us the king will literally have out heads for it."

Nami: "And if he dies in custody?"

 

Lucien grins before flying to a secluded part of Selchar and morphing into a human.

 

Lucien

You went to Selchar and morphed into a human. Your behind the bank.

Guards: "Then it wasn't a legend's fault. Although it would probably drive the king insane to have his son killed..." He looks back worryingly at the temple. Guard: "Your right, we can't waste time. Bob, go, but please be back before they notice you left." Bob: "Thank you for the chance." He turns to you. "Alright, so, the only time they ever come out is sending 2 of their men out for supplies like food and such. I saw them coming out before but I wasn't allowed to stop them because it would anger their captain that we killed their scouts. However now if we were to kill them and take their outfits, I think we cou-, look! There coming out of the cave. Don't show interest in them, otherwise they might be suspicions that we are about to do something. Are you ready?"

Nami: "Nervous, but yes. Let's try it."

(It's annoying how I have several characters I want to use but get too attached to my characters to allow them to die so I can replace them ;-;)

 

Nami

Once out of the cave, they start heading down the road that leads into the jungle. Bob: "Perfect ambush territory. Let's wait a minute though so they go past. We should ambush them while their coming back with the supplies."

(Also ya IK how you feel. I always get real attached to my characters as well xD )

 

(It's quite annoying, isn't it? I want to use the summoner so bad, but I'd need to kill someone off to make room for him. ARRRRGH!)

Nami: "Got it. Should I use my magic or my rapier?"
