    Not for end game, but if I get my hands on one, would it be good enough to use over any wand apart from an end game one?

    Is pretty good for showcase use, such if you want to show off to your friend that you got a 1 in a million- chance- to- drop-weapon. So yes, definitely viable.

    I soloed Corrupted of Worlds with my Pure as a lvl 69 or so, so I would say it is a pretty good wand.

    Of course, the most important thing is the other gear that you are using to pair up with the wand. And most people say that Ethereal (lvl 70) is a better wand than Pure, and I would say I agree, although I never really used Ethereal before.
