Ask Wynncraft: What Was It Like Making A New Class After Reaching Level 100/101?

Title pretty much sums it up. I'm at 98 with 90% and am wondering how it feels to go back to the start. :)

Idk never had a level 100/101 and not going to because I'm lazy to grind from 92 to 100/101

 

its actually extremely boring

 

I had fun running around and being a noob again for a bit (until certain quests showed up)

 

I sped ran with a friend through a lot of the levels in a couple weeks after and it was quite fun. Will say that it was heavily motivated to get a specific build tho. If you start another class and have pretty good knowledge of the meta-game, the best way to get motivated is to make a build that you really really want to test out.

 

Personally, I have a 101, 100, 97, and 52. Normally it gets fun around level 90 when you can start to put together a build. Otherwise you gotta muck through the days of getting from 1-89 which takes around 5 or so days if you're dedicated

 

as a person who's done it four times, and is doing it again, it's BORING as FUCK

Not gonna lie, I don't remember most of the times getting another class from 0 to 100. Probably because I turned in quests with txp + xp armor during txp weekend while dxp and xp armor affected quests. I could get 2 lvl 1's to 100's in a weekend.

But honestly it really depends on how you want to play wynn. If you want to rush to get to 100 again, it's gonna be boring af. But if you try to play it as it is and enjoy every part of it again, it'll be goood. c:

 

Its really fun if you have an endgame playstyle/build planned, you kind of get used to a new playstyle and play it differently. Its boring if you use the same sort of intel spell spam build to level up in every class. :/... I personally enjoy making new classes.

 

I just got my archer at 100 today. Minor celebration followed by "Well, I'm going to get my Hunter class at 100 and turn my archer here to another bank slave since Hunter is flashier and more braggable. May start that hell after my mage and assassin are at 100 and start their donor equivalents after or long with hunter. And play them with my friend with a YT and/or my friend without."

But that's not going to be for a long while. And my mage and assassin can be 99 and i'll start the donors, maybe keep mage for loot runs and dark wizard for extra money being a heal bitch.

AND I WILL ALWAYS REFUSE TO PLAY THE WARRIOR CLASS. TOO MELEE FOR ME MAN AND IS SLOW AS HELL IN THE TUTORIAL.

 

Have fun doing it without xp armor and dxp affecting quests
Some of us did it in one day, the next for another class on dxp weekends :)

Other than that, yeah the grinding can be boring af, but it's moreso the quests that you hate doing, the ones that are just a grind and it's back and forth

Having 3 101s and two 100s I can sum it up in one word... tragic.

 

For me, awesome for 2 reasons. I took a 5 month break from wynn, and restarting after finally getting to 100 is really fun, cause I get to see how amazing the game is for new players. Also meeting new players and helping them is awesome. You gotta get the player base to grow somehow.

 

I just leveled up 3 classes to like 90 then waited for dxp and grinded the fuck out.
