Nami

You stab through the shell of the first one using your fire rapier. It cooks from the inside. (Rolled 16) As you pull your rapier out the 2nd one hits you with its stinger. It didn't penetrate your armor but it hurt. The third is trapped and trying to deal with the firewall. (Rolled 3, but I was generous with the outcome)

Also sorry for the late reply. There was a spider on the wall. I trapped it in a candle and it is now the spider exhibit >:D

 

(Yeah, Nami is doing well enough as-is... Though it's an ok character, and I've worked out the summoning mechanic... Also, thanks for the generous outcome. Nami is starting to want to be a folk hero :D)

I'll try creating light orbs around whatever they see from so that they cannot see, then try the rapier tactic again.

You put light over there eyes and went for the rapier attack. It pierced its shell, and it cooks inside itself. The 3rd one heard the screams of its dying ally and is running straight towards you

(Also I just looked it up, scorpions have bed eyesight, and they instead mainly use hairs on the outside to sense where things are, so ya. Watch out for that)

 

Can I burn it's hairs off then?

You lob a fireball onto the scorpion. It burns all the hairs off, although it was charging you when you threw it, and it kept charging on. It smashed you against the wall and is about to close its pinchers.

Try to slide under it, retaliate with a rapier, then jump out of the way.

I do like the idea of using dice for some things, to prevent everything from going a character's way, but not using it for others to prevent bs from happening *cough* Moon Dragon *cough*

 

Nami

You slid under it and managed to cut off some legs on 1 side of it before rolling out from under it. It's slower now and a much easier kill

It sits their squealing as you constantly stab it. Owch. You won the battle. But now, you have to choose whether to go deeper or to retreat. (Your health doesn't come back until the end of the dungeon) There are 2 passages to go, but also the exit door.

Let's see... Hmm... Bit risky, would've been easier with the other character XD

Also, mostly have the summoning thing done, if you want to see it. It requires a tome, but it gets soulbound upon someone's first summon with it.

 

B, also can I gather some herbs on the way back?(asked to the almighty god that determines what happens...)

 

Before you leave you only get 1 shot per dungeon, meaning you can't come back to try this one again. And if a dungeon gets completed it can't be completed by another person. Do you still want to exit? (Not meaning you should stay, just saying you only have 1 chance. Dungeons also usually get harder the farther you progress)

(Dungeons will have a lot of the dice aspect in it, meaning you could legitimately die. So that might've been the right choice)

You leave the ruins. When you get back into the cave the door morphs into the wall. It's literally not there anymore. Your also standing on a floor of dead oversized scorpions.

(I have an event I could do that involves combat, but I feel like all I'm putting you through is combat. Do you want a bunch of combat stuff or do you wanna hold on that for a while? Cause I kinda feel like all I'm giving you is combat related stuff)

 

(I could do a break from combat despite the fact that my enjoyment of a game stems primarily from the strategic element. In RPs, other elements come into play, so I can take a break from combat, so might as well. Fun fact about my abnormality, for non-RP games, I actually only enjoy strategic ones. When people ask why I dislike games like CoD and GTA despite being a male American teenager, that's why.)
