There is only one problem, Dern is not going to be back there, it is a realm like the light realm. Back there could only be a rly bad curupted biome cus the portal is there. If it will be. Were only geting fruma and mybe but i dont think so, one more province in the main world.

I am fully aware that the Dernel jungle is named after Nedler. That's not why I say it needs to touch. I say it needs to touch because of the location of the ancient temple. I'm not going to explain the whole "ancients are from Dern, running from the eye" thing since that's been sufficiently proven, but if you were running away from point A to point B, since you got to point B it only makes sense you would stop as soon as you hit point B. The ancient temple being in the southwest corner of the Dernel jungle, I think it's safe to say that Dern touches that wall and the ancients came over and quickly built their city as soon as they were in Wynn

Can we not do this whole argument again? For now assume Dern is a fallen province, with its realm being the realm of shadow/darkness (the names vary among quests). All evidence point to the fact that Dern is indeed where he pointed out, except bigger extending east and west

Mmm,incorrect. The tomb in Nesaak, is fake. Bob, aka Robert had his friend Nilrem fake his death. Bob went to Dern to use his life force to seal away some terribly powerful entity. This is visible when you combine all sealed letters from the relics, and then consider the unfinished letter adressed to Nilrem on gateway island.

Dear Nilrem,

The letter I enclose to you has been sealed with concealment magicks. I trust you to know how to read it.

My war against the creature is futile. Intel has reached me from a trusted source. Our world is far smaller than we could have imagined, our magick feeble in comparison to what i am about to explain.

There are realms beyond our comprehension, powers we can not hope to defeat. Two immense forces are at war, with our plain of existence being the battleground. There is a dark creature of the night in a land "far" away, it poses a threat to all.

I give you this letter as a warning and a farewell, friend. I am going to challenge the beast and attempt to seal it away using my own life force, for I know that is all i can do, killing it is not a option.

You know of the magic i have infused in my animal companions, I trust you to hide them until one worthy is able to wield my might. The world can not know of my sacrifice, no one must search for me. You must fake my death, and create a body for them to bury.

Actually no. It's often believed that he died fighting "a big threat in the jungle" meaning CoW, but it's never actually mentioned anywhere. If it does mention anything, it says "a threat to the south" which correlates with our Dern location. And everything else also points to him dying in Dern

EDIT: I actually once accidentally had a weird glitch when I join and I spawned over the barrier blocks that prevent us from climbing further... I went behind the tomb... and guess what, there is nothing there
