Mods?

Today I saw that on the Game Rules, it says modded clients are allowed if they don't give you any gameplay advantages. Would mods like a mini-map count as a gameplay advantage?

 

Minimaps are fine, but any and all entity radars must be TURNED OFF, and cave maps are not allowed.

 

As long as you don't have the entity radar (and cave maps) enabled, it's fine to use.

MPM (only know this one for now, and it lets you change your body's appeareance, but you will still have a 2 blocks hitbox, you need to pass through 2x2 halls at least...)

 

Is toggle sprint allowed? I mean it is, mostly, everywhere, but just want to have no doubts

 

Not sure, so I'd err on the side of caution and say no.

 

I suggest the wynncraft enhanced modpack, on the twitch/curse client, it's really helpful and it's approved by the mods (according to the thread of it). It might mess with your FPS a bit, but I don't see a any difference.

Why? it's just so you don't need to hold the sprint button, but just press to start running, and again to stop. (Not using 1, just looking for reasoning .-.)

 

I wouldn't suggest WynnEnhanced, as it seems to cause a myriad of gameplay issues.

And I also wouldn't suggest that due to our sprint bar mechanic causing severe mana drain when you're out of sprint. Aside from that, I'm just not sure, so it's best to be safe than sorry.

 

I have been using the modpack for a bit and have yet to run into issues, any chance you can specify? and I was going to say about the mana drain system, but thanks :)

 

Please if you can, ask the almighty cow or whoever who can tell you for sure, that mod is literally just holding one button for you... and since even macros for spells are allowed, toggle sprint is less of an 'advantage' than that, so I think there should be no problems? Playing with it for 2 years and used to it as hell :/

 

People seem to complain very very often to us about random, unexplainable issues, and removing the modpack seems to miraculously fix it. It's been awhile and less people are using it and/or just dealing with the bugs, but if you go back in the discord chat there's a ton of them, as well as a number of support tickets asking about them.

Then that's why, it hurts your performence quite a bit. Mine is quite strong, so I can run it with 150 fps (my usual)
