What Causes The Decay In Gavel

The goal is to get to the land of trade. The goal of darkness is to end the light in the realm that connects to Gavel. Wynn just happened to be in the middle of the fight, as mentioned many times, but was never the goal target. It's Gavel.

 

Yeah... But if the dark is making moves against light, which is in gavel, why is there corruption in Wynn? I mean I know it's theorized that Dern is South of Wynn, but... like they aren't fighting over Wynn, the dark is attacking Gavel (light)?

 

Oh, that's simple. As stated in the realm of light questlines, Wynn got caught in the middle. Light to the north and Dark to the south clash in the middle, with the side effect being Corruption.

 

But if Dern has always been south, and gavel has always been north, why did Wynn's Corruption only occur 1000 years ago, and not forever?

 

Because they never spread near each other before that?

 

Ah... So like, as the dark and light got closed to fighting each other they became so close they caused corruption?

 

Yep, as well as all the other nasty stuff like Decay and whatnot

 

I honestly didn't know which province they were talking about, I thought I remembered someone saying that Wynn was the land of trade once.
Anyway, what are we trying to figure out again? xD

What is interesting that "He" has been in gavel once before. Yes it is true we don't know whom this devil is... But he has been in gavel before. I should think that if a great drakness once was on our plane of the exsitance then gavel must be a much darker place...
