Archer/Hunter Magnus Build [level Min 99] -=great Dps, Health, Hp Regen, And Fire Damage=-

First, I would like to credit this build to @Leo|GM who made the original >>HERE<<

This is my first Class build thread, so Feedback is appreciated.

This build is very high in Fire DPS, as well as Health Regen, HP, and Poison (Kinda)

Armour

Helmet- Cancer [Legendary Level 98]
Cancer is probably the most important piece of armour in this entire build. The ideal cancer should have:

• High (or "low negative," depending on how you look at it) melee damage
• Really high attack speed

Poison/life steal/mana steal isn't really necessary.

Chestplate option 1- Leo [Legendary Level 93]
Leo isn't completely important to this build, although its attributes suite it well:

• Lots of Health
• Nice Health Regen
• Fire Damage/Defense

When finding a Leo for this build, Try and find one with high (or "Low negative," depending on how you look at it) melee damage.

Chestplate option 2- Hetusol [Legendary Level 98]
Hetusol could be used as a second chestplate. Here is how it stacks up to Leo:

• Lesser raw health
• More well-rounded elemental defense
• Better health regen
• No -melee damage
• No fire damage
• Mana regen could be potentially useful
• -Walkspeed isn't much of an issue, as long as it is similar to Arediente's

Leggings- Arediente [Unique Level 93]

Although these are unique, they also benefit the build in most areas:

• Melee damage (countering cancers/leo's)
• Fire Damage/Defense
• Decent Health
• Walk speed is useful ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: Fire Sanctuary could be used here, although I do not have one myself

Boots- Nether's Scar [Legendary Level 95]
I used Nether's scar in this build because, once again, it basically just added on to what this build already had. It also provided some necessary skill points.

• Dexterity (for cancer)
• Dope health regen
• Fire damage/defense
• Health
• Poison was nice as well

Rings- Facile x2 [Rare Level 99]
This ring was fairly easy to get, had a low skill point requirement and gave some skill points and buffs:

• 1-2 extra skill points for every category
• Health Regen
• Melee Damage

This bracelet gave some useful things such as:

• Health (600)
• Health Regen
• Fire Damage/Defense

Weapon

Bow- Magnus [Level 92 Unique] (duh)
Magnus is what makes this build. The Cancer is used to make the Super Slow attack speed faster, while the rest of the build is to negate Cancer's (and Leo's) negative melee damage. Magnus is good due to:

• Really high damage
• Fire Damage/Defense
• Exploding is useful

Spell damage isn't really necessary, along with Thunder damage/defense

Fire powders are useful on pretty much everything, nothing too complicated here.

Cost

Cancer- Between 5-20 le
Leo- 5-10 le
Ardiente- Probably easiest to find while grinding or on loot runs, but if bought most likely under 1 le
Nether's Scar- 3-8 le
Facile x2- 1-3 le, although could be found in chests on loot runs
Justice- If bought, near 1 le but fairly easy to find nevertheless
Antim- Same story as Justice
Magnus- Once again, easy to find, although if bought around 1-2 le.

[Costs probably need improving, so feedback would be helpful]

Total- Between 16 and 49 Le

Summary

This build combines Magnus' extremely high base damage with Cancer's +attack speed, while every other piece of armour and accessories are dedicated to making the melee damage as "high" as possible. (for it remains negative)

This build primarily features epic Fire Damage, but it also includes very high Health (around 16k), really good Health regen, and some poison (around 5k/3). The best part about it: There isn't really a major price to pay. No -walkspeed (positive, actually!) and no -mana regen are really nice. Of course, you shouldn't use this build against anything with high Fire Defense or Water Damage. It is only used in specific situations. With this said, you could use powders to alter Magnus's high neutral damage to become a fire/other element damage dealer.

This build is not at all for spell damage!
The Magnus build is focused completely on melee damage, and having really high DPS and Damage per shot, it does not need bombs and arrow storms. This can be very useful, for mana does not need to be worried about.

i think the build would also work well with Plague from the sand swept dungeon

 

Possibly, although Cancer requires 105 dexterity and Plague requires 100 defense, so the skill points would be tricky to work out.

 

Your water defense is super low. I'd suggest replacing Leo with Hetusol. Other than that, clever build.

 

So its a melee build, but with an archer, that does less damage than melee builds.

 

I like to think of it as a "spells not necessary build" :P
