[rp] Mortal 11/11

"Yesterday I encountered 2 so called Sins. Those 2 being Pride and Gluttony." I say with a serious tone.
Looking at the boy I say: "The two of them were after this young boy next to me. I do not know much about him, seeing as we met 2 days ago. All I know is that the Cult is after him."

 

"We have very little information. We must take action, but they're powerful. Haste WILL be our downfall. Our ally is, and was said, gathering intel on them, but, until then, we should figure out how to balance Aurallim and the Cult... That aspect is vital."

I know, but managing a RP takes time he might not have. ^^
Also he makes quite long well thought out replies so for him it takes even longer than in other RPs.

Sorry guys. My school started and I literally had books of homework.

Ember smiles. "Follow me." He starts sprinting towards the inner city.

As soon as they passed a few streets, they come into view of a giant wall.

"Weren't we already inside..." Tisaun looks back. Behind them is another wall, which is smaller and thinner. The tiny gate where Tisaun had came in from is barely visible.

"This town, Tornedd, serves an important role if Aurallim comes through Kurnnot. It serves as the hub of soldiers who are recruited from the other towns who are sent to fight. Its defences are high, for sure. They have a border at the second gate."

At the large gate, there is a fence, with soldiers sitting down behind and beside the doorways. Every people coming in seems to be questioned.

Ember smiles. "Luckily, I know a way in. The way leads directly to the Rogue base."

More magicians and people come out from the Watchtower. The monster gives a loud screech.

Some of the Feldurim starts to chant together, and energy starts to concentrate on top of the monster, slowly solidifying into something in a form of a giant blade as thick as a person's spread arms.

Summoning objects from thin air takes a lot of energy. Around the field, Feldurims start to gasp and drop to their knees, unable to sustain the magic. Still more keeps chanting. The monster is only about 20 meters away from the tower.

You tackle Mylith down to the ground. Ilcia raises her hands and screams. The poison all stops in the air, then starts to spread on empty air. Ilcia's invisible wall. Ilcia moves her hands, and the wall tilts down, pouring the poison to the side, towards a group of centipedes. They screech and drop to the ground, burning.

"Ilcia!" Airin shouts. The nurikabe turns back, her eyes wide.

thunk.

Sylphaxaura's scythe pierces through the girl's chest. Sylphaxaura lifts her scythe, bringing up the now-limp body, and throws it across the battlefield. At the same movement Sylphaxaura's tail moves with incredible speed, knocking into Wyrmin. He tumbles back and tries to get up. Blood starts to stain his clothes at his torso, and he drops to the ground.

 

No problem.
I've got 2 more days of school until my vacation starts

"Hm." Lynn says. "Your sole reason for coming to this place is to meet Yggdrasil. We shall go there."

The Amazon turns around to her comrades. "I will go with him to the World Tree. Report back to the Hunters of the navy-cloaked woman and the Witch's Cultists."

As her Hunt leaves, Lynn motions with her head towards the tree. "Follow me, Ventus."

Bekran nods. "Despite the fact that Truskan had fallen, we thank you for the support you've shown us against Gramoul. That monster has been living in a nearby volcano for long, slaughtering everything that came his way. if he had joined the goblins in this war, we must find a way to retaliate. Fortunately, the way into Ogovith and the other towns are well defended. The entire tunnel leading to Truskan will be crushed."

Lucian thinks for a moment.
"Jack, Xiudar. I have a proposal."

"Let's hear it." Xiudar says.

"I would like for you to join us to Cites Torin." Lucian says. "There, I will appeal to the others that you are no threat."

"That's crazy!" Caiden says. "We just met him. Plus, they won't accept him, he's possessed by a demon!"

"He's right, Lucian." Silrait says. "Even if Jack is a friend, the others won't see him at the same way."

Lucian thinks for a moment. "What if we say that Jack only possesses Xiudar's power, and that the demon is not alive inside?"

The boy is too naive. Xiudar whispers in Jack's mind. He thinks that if you aren't a monster itself, the others will accept you.

But the offer is tempting for Jack. Being alone for so long (of course he has Xiudar but), he is happy to have an opportunity to build relations with others.

"The Cult is after him!?" A captain says. "Doesn't that make him dangerous?" Murmurs and nods from the others.

Rathius looks down at the boy. "Hey. Do you remember anything more?" He asks, without much hope.

The boy stays quiet, then whispers, "Yes."

"What do you..." Rathius starts to ask.

"My name is Octavus." The boy whispers. "I think.... I've seen the Seven Sins somewhere before."

"Okay good." I nod at the Octavus.
"Octavus, do you remember where you've seen them before?" I ask him with a soft tone in my voice

 

*At the Arcuntar's Castle*

A young woman, a Royal musician, walks down the lonely corridor hurriedly, holding a bag with a flute in one hand. As she walks towards the prep room for the musicians, she sees a man staggering against the wall, coming from the other side. She looks at the man, whose face is pale and sweating. Around his belly are bandages wrapped around, with a small blood stain.

"are you okay, sir? Are you looking for the healing house?" The musician asks, sounding worried.

The man looks up, and smiles faintly. "I..." The man suddenly falls forward, and the woman, crying, drops her flute bag and catches the man in her hands.

"Sir?" The musician asks. The man rights himself, and apologises.

"Are you really okay? Should I call the Sylphs?" The musician asks, picking up her bag. The man suddenly opens his eyes wide and grins a wicked smile. His eyes flash purple.

The man places a hand over the woman's heart. A shock radiates from the man into the musician. The woman gasps and slumps down. Her heartbeat starts to slow as her vision starts to get darker, and her body becomes weaker...

The man's body starts to crumble, turning into dust that scatters around, leaving no trace. A purple presence hovers in the empty air, then enters the woman's body through the open mouth. The woman's body twitches, then she stands up. She flexes her fingers, examining them.

"This will do." She mutters in the same voice but in a completely different way of talking. The woman looks up, grinning. "Octavus, I am coming for you."

 

Run in and grab them all out? If thats allowed lol
