Hello hello, here are some thoughts:

-I know you are focusing on a character concept, but making the background white would be a lot cleaner
-The sword goes off the page - I would like to see the entire blade to get the entire meaning of this piece
-You have the right leg (left in the artwork) in perspective behind the opposite leg but the waist does not bend in the way it would normally be positioned
-The way the legs+feet are facing is not realistic based on how which direction the body shows to be facing

I won't comment on your colors and aesthetics because that is YOUR style and YOUR decision, but it is coming along nicely!

    Best of wishes.

    Thanks for your feedback!
    - the background is the way it is because I don't like just a blank space to look at, that is just my appeal though.
-I don't know how the entire sword would give you the full meaning, but I couldn't put the whole sword in without expanding the canvas width quite a bit or changing the structure of the hand and arm, which I couldn't seem to do right.
-the leg and body position are definitely possible, albiet kinda uncomfortable (I posed for this) and I don't think I did the legs quite right either.
-I'd like to hear your comments on the colors, I'm practicing color theory. Hearing about my terrible aesthetic design would be cool too

For color theory, the easiest thing you could do to make the character stand out more is change the background to a green hue. Red is the warmest color in your piece, so make a complementary colored background. The yellow right now just messes up the hair since it's too similar of a hue.

Now for your chestplate, it's too white. There's something in color called reflective lighting. Basically, everything the character wears along with their skin tone should revolve around a certain hue and influence the color of armor. Remember that it's a reflective metal, so it should take on the appearance of a purplish hue due to the cape surrounding it. (Paint some purple/red on low opacity basically)

The rest is some minor things, the section of the cape behind her body should be much darker than the front. You need some highlights on the chestplate, thigh, nose, and cape.

Mind exemplifying highlights? Also, they are in like an empty void so what would I reflect?

In regards to the sword, you want your character for ANY concept art where they are holding something to have some relevance to the story. Maybe it is just my personal opinion but I have been told in drawing to not go off the page unless that's the style. For this though, it's just a spacing thing. Try a few gesture line sketches of just the waist up showing different arm positions with the sword, that's what I do when I draft a design - always start with a preliminary sketch. Make sure the body position is comfortable, otherwise (like in my case) it may be mistaken as unbalanced or awkwardly placed out of perspective.

I love color theory so I'll give this a go:
-I notice you are using only tints of the primary colors along with a greyscale, which IS appealing to the eye naturally because we grow up being taught early on the basic of color theory and why certain things "work well". Red is warm, yellow is warm, blue is cool. BUT, blue is complementary to yellow and plays nicely with red especially if it is a lighter hue so the red does not come off as too harsh.
-I would NOT change your colors, and here's why; The most logical color to add if you HAD to would be a basic green. Green is a cool color, next to blue AND yellow on the color wheel but also is the complement of red. Adding green may seem okay for some projects, except that a company such as Google brands themselves using red, yellow, green and blue. I know personally whenever I see any of those color together I think "Oh, Google?". If you want to play around, I would make the laces on the shoes a mud brown and then another subtle element a nice beige. The hair would NOT work because yellow is the MAIN color that draws you from top to bottom of the artwork.

Final aesthetic note - I looked at it a bit longer and decided the laces on the boots could be a calm yellow (yellow mixed with a tiny bit of white).

    Best of wishes!

Ignore the chestplate lol, I screwed up reflective lighting, but hopefully you get my point. Personally I don't believe in void lighting. All it does is make images completely flat, since everything in real life has shadows.

Your shading also is not anime cell shading, which does use void light. Yours has multiple dark areas, but lacks a single highlight. Partly due to this, it's really hard to tell that Celia is pulling the cape.
