As you crouch walk, you hear it start running farther away and the screams of an animal you think is a sheep.

"I think its far away now, let's run towards Olux." I whisper to Ken
"It's not our concern of what happens with the animals, atleast not right now."

 

Ramus

Ken: "I think that's I good idea. It seems distracted with whatever its chasing and probably won't come for us. Bolt on 3. 1,2,3!" You both bolt towards Olux. It doesn't sound like the giant is following you. You make it to Olux without meeting it again, although your both a bit out of breath

A. Go give the package to the bank

(I also gtg in about 10 minutes. Goin to cousins house)

"Let's get that package to the bank and then continue." I say with not much breath left.

*while heading up to the bank* Ken: "You mean you wanna go straight to the next place? Don't wanna look at anything here? *whispers* Well it ain't very nice looken anyways, givin that the town is in a swamp." When you get to the bank Ken takes the package out of his bag and gives it to the banker, who in turn gives him some money and 2 more packages. Ken: Since we're a team now, you get part of the profit." He gives you 10 eb. "So, you ready to go straight to Gelibord? Also, could you carry one of these packages for me? Only 1 can fit in my bag."

A. Go to Gelibord (and hold/not hold a package)
B. Do something in town first

"Knowing that that 'thing' lives nearby, I think it's better to leave quickly and not encounter it on the way." I say to Ken.
I also grab one of the packages from his hands.

 

Ramus

Ken: "Actually ya, that's probably a good idea cause it went to the west. Gelibord is to the East, the exact opposite way of where that thing was headen. If we give it time by sitting here we wouldn't know it's general location." You start heading to Gelibord.

A. Make conversation once far from Olux?

"Say Ken, do you have any fighting experience?" I ask while walking.

(Also, how would our skill system work? Is it just that we only have 2 skills or will we get 4 eventually and upgrade them, like in Wynncraft?)

Ken: "Well I mean, I took a fighting class before, and iv had to fight off some hostile people that wanted to take what I was delivering but iv never been in any big battle, such as fighting that giant. Iv usually gotten out of situations by using my brain instead of combat. Actually now that I think about it, I guess I'm lucky that I haven't gotten into a battle where the only way out is to fight. I litter ally only have my pistol and dagger. Although Iv been saving up for this rly cool Katana in Almuj. It got some sorta like magic to it that harnesses te elements. It got fire, water, electric, earth, and air. Iv been wantin it for a while now. Just a new more stops and I'll be able to get it. It's really expensive but I think it's worth it cause it can literally do thing like control elements, like I I hit the ground with it I could raise up a dirt wall, or if I raised it to the air I could conduct and lighting bolt to fire at something. It's super cool."

"Wow really what's its called then?" I ask Ken.
I look around the area. Realizing something.
"Oh, we're close by. Mind if I say hi to an old friend of the forest?"

 

Lucien sighs.
"Look, mate, I'll give you a couple chunks if you tell me what this is."

 

I'll follow the troops, maybe I'll become an ally of Detlas.
(Sorry, I spent the last 6.5 hours traveling...)

 

Nami

You follow the troops. A lot of them made it back before you and are reporting how the mission went. When you get there, you see the commander nod and do a signal to the troops. They go inside the building. The general looks around, spots you, and comes over. General: "So, I hear your the girl that saved Ragni and helped my troops find the witch's weakness? Clever one you are. Have you ever considered being a mercenary? We are currently low on able solders and if you would want the job I have a task for you. There's some pirates down by Nemract who are trying to create a safe zone for pirates on the mainland. This cannot happen. I don't know how many there are, but I would be sending you and 4 other soldiers to combat and neutralize the area. So, do you want the job? I'll pay you some and you get to take whatever pirate loot you can get your hands on. So, do you accept the offer?"

A. Accept the offer
B. Decline the offer
C. Free Action

(It's k, I had to go to my cousins anyway.)

 

Nami: "Very well. Don't want pirates storming Nemract. I accept."
(At least you didn't spend an hour longer than you expected stuck in a car after being on a cramped airplane. I could hardly walk after leaving the car XD)

 

Nami

General: "Good, then the mission will be launched now." He goes inside and out comes 4 troops. General: "Good luck solders. Show 'em why you don't mess with the mainland." Troops: "YES SIR!" They start heading out to Nemract and you follow.

A. Meet the troops (If so you wanna meet the highest rank or one of the regular troops?)
B. Fast travel to the pirates
C. Leave
D. Free Action

 

A. meet the troops. Doesn't matter which one.

Ken: Huh, I actually haven't thought of a name for it yet. Usually at the shop people just refer to it as the elemental sword. Also ya, you can go say hi to a friend. I'll wait here and try to think up a good name. Good names take time after all." He sits down on a fallen tree to think of a good name.

B. Tell Ken he should come with you to see the friend

You start with the troop in the back since your also in the back. Jack: "Oh, hey. Your the mercenary right? I was actually one of the troops that was with you in that witch fight if you remember. Nice find BTW, you might have actually saved some of our lives by weakening him so we could get close enough to hit him with a potion. My names Jack BTW, pleased to meet you."

That would be the one in front. Jack: "Alright, bye then." You go up to the front solder Ren: "Oh, your that mercenary the commander said we were ganna work with right? Well, make sure to not get yourself killed. I am responsible more my men's lives, so I will move to save them before saving you. And also good luck in this fight, we don't yet know how many there are."
