Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well, all they really do is sit on their rumps doing nothing. They're uneducated, unskilled, and bring you no profit." I say.

 

"And where would I go after? This is my home and I don't see a FOR SALE sign anywhere!"

 

"Well, it was nice seeing you again, Xelentia, but, unless you have unfinished business here..."
I say, turning towards Ytir.

 

"Let's continue." He utters, darting over to you.

 

I think for a moment.
"How about a proposition. You lend me the village, I turn them into people who make profit, and then I give it back to you. All I'm interested in is the livelihood and culture of your people."

 

"Why do you want my people?" He growls, showing no further desire to compromise.

 

"Alright. Well, bye, Xelentia!"
I say, starting to walk out.

 

"Because I am interested in this realm, and your people just so happen to be the first I've stumbled upon."

 

Ytir stays close to you.
"Nice meeting you, miss!"
"Bye hons!"

The hydra grumbles.
"How long, and what's in it for you?"

 

"Until I train them to be merchants, miners, farmers, and the rest. What's in it for me? Knowledge."

 

"Scared of being stepped on, still?"
I ask, walking out of the doorway and into the halls.

 

"That better be it. Nothing else. You pay me, you train my people, and turn them back over in three months. You try to pull anything, and I'll give you a reminder whose territory this is."

"To be honest? Yes."

 

I smile, somewhat smugly, and nod my head.
"Alright then. I assume we're going by verbal contract here? Or perhaps you'd like a written or blood contract?"

 

"She won't, most likely."
I assure.

 

"Blood contract. No fine print, no pulling any tricks or conditions." He growls.

"Still worries me."

 

"Alright." I say, drawing a knife and approaching the nearest claw.

 

"Well, you never have to come back here again, so it's not that big of a deal."
I re-assure.
"Any other place you want to go?"

 

He pulls it back.
"You sign first."

"Not really. I'm open to going back, maybe to the library some other time."

 

I summon a piece of paper and cut my wrist, letting the blood drip for a few seconds before signing "Terrae" with the knife.

 

"Back to the portal room it is."
I say, kneeling.
