Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"This one's on the house, don't worry!" Ali says happily.

"W-what?!"

"So, all biased but not all intentionally?"

 

"Pretty much."

 

"Can I at least clean up our dishes? I don't want to take without giving back." Stephanie asks kindly.

 

"Okay. Can the same be said for most raptors?"

Ali sighs.
"Alright. Sink's in the back; I need to retake inventory with all the new... everything, just about."

 

"If most raptors think all humans are bad, then yes."

 

"Thanks." Stephanie says, smiling, going back to her table and collecting hers and Angela's plates and cups and taking them into the back to clean.

Angela decides to walk over to Ali while Stephanie's cleaning the dishes.

"Um, who's this Abigail I've heard about? I-I was curious as to what she's done to you." Angela asks nervously.

 

"Okay, so yes."

 

"Then that's one thing we're going to need to fix. I mean, I thought they would hate humans, and all, but something tells me that inhibitor isn't going to be accessible without them."
I admit.

 

"Me personally? Nothing. She killed five innocents in cold blood, though. Also wanted for property damage and causing the destruction of seventeen homes." Ali sighs.

"And making sure all the tribes understand, too..."

 

Ytir cringes.
"Getting us to agree? That'd... be interesting..."

 

"Well, nothing can cure the world if everyone's trying to kill each other."

 

"That's going to be a hard message to spread among us, but from what I heard from Mantis patrols, you should win over their matriarch."

 

"Right, I was thinking about that... Anyways, want to go anywhere else before you leave?"

 

"U-um... could I touch your goddess?" They ask nervously.

 

"She doesn't belong to me, she's her own person."
I say, gesturing to her.

 

"U-um... miss Xlentia? Can I touch you? Please?"
"You don't think I'm fake, do you? Yes, you may."
Ytir runs up to and pokes Xlentia.
"How are you so big...?"
"Just how I am."

 

"Some people are bigger than others. Gods and goddess just happen to be much larger."

 

"How much do you want for the town?"

 

"You are not buying my territory." He growls.

"N-no kidding..."
"It's okay, hon. People give me flattering reactions all the time."
