"Feeling famished? You should eat after sleeping for so long."

 

"Burnt salt, whatever. My point is, she reeks and no air freshener could hide her from my nose."

"Not yet. Do things usually get hungry after waking up?"

 

"Fire guardians aren't the biggest fans of showers. Though they've developed ways of managing to take one." The sand guardian says.

"Certain minerals in the water or magical charms can protect them from their natural weakness to water, so they can shower properly." The forest guardian adds.

 

"After a ten hour sleep? Typically. Depends on the creature, but you do go without eating for almost half of a day. Depending on a creature's eating rate, that can lead to hunger."

 

"Whatever it takes, Abigail needs one." The Anubis sighs.

"I guess I'll be hungry by the time we get somewhere else, then. Where is the food here?"

 

The sand guardian laughs, while the forest guardian simply smiles, both amused.

 

"Not sure. I could ask, though, wherever we go next. When you're ready, I can tell you what other places are on the map."

 

The Anubis waits it out.
"In all seriousness, did you bring an air guardian? She may be keeping distance from above, or just be hiding somewhere else entirely."

"Map it is, then."

 

"Let's go."
I say, walking towards where we entered.

 

The raptor keeps up, mostly.

There's a map near the door. Notable places include the lab, cryo, mess hall, library, training room, and Xlentia's chambers.

 

"Lab, cryo room, mess hall, training room, and Her chambers."
I read off the map to the raptor.
"The last one won't off much other than a nice sight for a few seconds. And, I've only been to the lab, training room, and chambers, so don't ask about the other places."
I explain.

 

"Can we try the cryo room, then?"

 

I take a glace at the map for a second, refreshing on the directions.
"Alright. Get on my back and we'll go."
I say, kneeling.

 

The raptor becomes a backpack as he stops shifting.
"Ready."

Two rights and fifth door, according to the map.

 

I take off, putting my hands behind me once again, and following the directions.

 

The cryo room only takes a few minutes to get to.
"It feels cold from out here." The raptor comments, pressing a wing to the door.

 

"Cryo, a prefix meaning, involving or producing cold, especially extreme cold."
I recite, kneeling once more.

 

"She can't hide above forever, though another few scout teams are due to be sent into the forest and areas past this desert. There have been no reports of her in the Shadow Palace though, so we can rule that out." The forest guardian says.

 

Pause.
"What about her home?"

"Oh... well... I guess I just won't stay long." The raptor says, getting off.

 

"If you say so."
