Crash On Resource Pack Download?

So I just got on wynncraft for the first time on a new computer, running windows 10 in minecraft version 1.8.9, and whenever I try to download the resource pack, my game instantly crashes. Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

 

if you say Yes when adding the server to your list, it will probably say:
Something blah blah(this part is because i cant remember it) Directory is not a Directory
well, about that the solution is to go to your .minecraft file and create a file called "server-resource-packs"
i once had that problem, and that was the only solution i found
the main problem of this is that you probably dont have a file to save the server resource packs
