Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Xlentia opens her mouth.
"Okay, take two."

 

Shadow Stephanie empowers Katie, flying her up into Xlentia's mouth. Once inside, Katie practically runs to the back of Xlentia's mouth and dives down her throat.


"How's it feel having your body be a water park attraction for Katie?" I ask Xlentia casually, smirking.

 

"Shut up."

 

I just smirk.


Katie heads through Xlentia's stomach once she enters it, following her previous route to get into Xlentia's bloodstream and letting it take her to Xlentia's heart.

 

As she arrives, she still struggles to keep in the heart as a liquid.

 

Katie just lets herself get dragged off as Shadow Stephanie leaves her body, hugging Ihra.

"Wheee!" Katie says happily as the bloodstream carries her.

Shadow Stephanie puts a hand on Ihra's head, her hand merging with it to empower Ihra slightly and allow telepathic communication.

"We'll get you out of here, Ihra." Shadow Stephanie says, still hugging Ihra with her free hand.

 

"Don't hurt her... I tried so hard to free her, and... when Ruby said you were gonna kill her, I... I used every last bit of everything I had to hurry. S-so you wouldn't." She utters telepathically.

 

"I won't, Ihra," Shadow Stephanie says, sighing, "I was just...so angry. She killed Stephanie, my form, and I just got so mad at her, I just wanted to kill her back."

 

"You know, I felt the same about Aj for a bit. I guess we're all two sided coins."

 

"Xlentia's not so bad, you know," Shadow Stephanie admits, "I honestly kind of like her now she isn't...well, crazy."

 

"She's just misunderstood."

 

"Yeah, I guess she is," Shadow Stephanie says, "I'm sorry you have to be trapped inside of her, though."

 

"It was my choice." Ihra says.

 

"You want to be here?" Shadow Stephanie asks, confused.

 

"No, but I wanted to free her."

 

"Dammit, Ihra," Shadow Stephanie says, "Why do you have to be so kind!?"

Shadow Stephanie hugs Ihra tighter.

 

Ihra hugs her back.
"Why not be that kind? If I'm nice to everyone, everyone's nice to me!"

 

"Because people miss you when you disappear, and they think you're dead..." Shadow Stephanie says, holding back tears.

 

"Well, sure, my time will come, but then wouldn't those people try to be nice to make me happy?" Ihra asks, not understanding how grudges work.

 

"Ihra, before just recently, I thought you were dead," Shadow Stephanie says, "I've missed you, you know. I know I wasn't always around with the group, but you always seemed so nice when I was."
