Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Thanks, I will." Abigail says trustingly, deciding to pose to make it easier for Crystal to mimic her. Abigail looks rather stunning as she poses in her bikini, enough to turn most people's heads.

 

"I have no need for material wealth. However, if something were to bolster my life force or help it regenerate... I couldn't promise you."

"Sort of. That's not a safe way to live, though."

 

Fixing some things he missed before, Crystal moves up farther, at about the bottom of the rib cage.
"Thanks for posing."
Crystal says appreciatively.

I smile at this.
"If you're looking for a safe way to live, you'll have better luck asking Death himself to spare you."

 

"Fair point."

 

"We have some mage crystals that can activate when close to death or just passively convert magic into life, if that's what you're looking for." I say casually.

"I'm happy to be your shapeshift model, Crystal." Abigail responds, smiling.

 

"Sivius gets to explore a lot. He's lucky for that."

He smiles back, moving up to the head, shifting what needs to be shifted as he goes. Once he gets to the head, he takes a lot of time getting Abigail's face, as well as her hair.

 

"I'll look. I burn my own life force for my strength. The blades often overlook any extreme actions I take to lengthen the duration of our contract."

"You should talk to him sometime. Probably has a lot of stories, maybe even comparable to the library."

 

"Maybe I shouldn't hear all of them, then."
I say, smiling.

 

Abigail tries to keep her face and head as still as possible while Crystal works on it, trying to keep her expression neutral to aid him.

"Then you'd probably need something like a pure mage crystal attuned to life magic. Where you'd find one of those, I don't know." I say.

"I'm fairly sure Stephanie's tome has information on pure mage crystals. He could always try asking her." Artemis says to me.

"I guess. She's still at home, right?" I ask.

"Last time I checked." Artemis says.

 

Crystal finishes up, tweaking a few things here and there. Once done, she stands up, showing Abigail.
"How do I look?"
She asks, mimicking Abigail's voice. She's shorter than Abigail by quite the bit, but other than that, it's pretty good.

 

"Wow, you look amazing. Excellent job, Crystal!" Abigail praises, looking around her Crystal doppelgänger to see how she's been mimicked.

 

"Not all. Some."

Sivius hesitates.
"Wait... that's... that's right."
He glances at Aj.
"You killed my supplier. I had a source of what you mentioned. And you killed them."

 

"Who was that?" I ask calmly.

 

Sivius draws his rapier, scans it, and sheathes it.
"Stephanie, dear?" He asks, turning to Shadow Stephanie. "My apologies, but I don't know if I can tolerate being in the presence of a traitor."

 

"What did Aj do?" Shadow Stephanie asks, concerned.

"The hell are you talking about?" I ask, sounding offended.

 

"Thanks!"
Basically everything's been mimicked. It's not perfect, but it looks good enough to fool anyone that's basing it just on touch. Crystal's hair still moves like hair, although it looks a lot more solid than normal hair should.

"How many of his stories have you heard?"

 

Sivius shakes his head.
"I'm sorry, I can't work with you. The Forgotten rue your name." He says, staring at you.

"Only a few. All of them too good to be true, or so I thought."

 

Abigail lightly kisses Crystal.

"You have a lot of talent, Crystal." Abigail says, smiling.

"Let me guess...Ruby?" I guess.

 

"If he told two stories, one of them the truth, and one a lie, I don't think even I'd be able to tell the difference."

 

"That is one of the three who spoke up, yes, as well as my supplier."
